The food was really good but the choices are limited. However most of the food served is from local sources which I love.
I was taken here for a birthday lunch. I did not see the bill so I have no idea the cost.
While a reservation was made there was a couple of minutes of wait time.
The atmosphere was very pleasant but it did get a little loud.
The servers were all awesome.

We ordered the Song Bird Combo Sandwich and the Kale Frittata, and both were absolutely delicious! We’re in town visiting and are so glad we found this restaurant. We love trying new places, especially ones with a unique menu, and this is definitely not your traditional breakfast spot — which made it even better.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was super busy first thing in the morning — we arrived just after they opened — so I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time.

This place did not disappoint, and we will definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Truly St. Louis‘s best brunch and breakfast spot! Chris, the owner, is very dedicated to providing pleasant customer service and atmosphere, supporting local farmers and producers and serving truly high-quality food. The new location is a huge upgrade! It’s really spacious and each table has their own little comfy spot. The decor is adorable and the wait stuff is on it. We actually felt that our meal there was a step up. High five Songbird! We will be back ASAP.

My husband and I had a great time at Songbird in Saint Louis. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I’m not a big eater, so I didn’t finish much of my meal. As we was leaving, someone actually came out to ask if they could send something home with me since they noticed I didn’t eat much, that was touching to me at the level of service they aim for.

I also ordered an herbal hot tea that was delicious.. The whole place has a calm, welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it! Thank you Songbird!

Phenomenal! I had the spinach mushroom frittata and honey lavender latte. The frittata was the best I have ever had and big portion. The greens that came with it were so fresh and loved the light dressing. Also the latte had only a hint of sweetness which I loved because I don’t like drinks being too sweet. Staff are also very friendly. And I liked the outdoor seating. Simple and tasteful. Highly recommend.

The absolute BEST gluten free breakfast sandwich I have ever had! I’ve been GF for over 10 years and trying to find GF items while traveling is always such a struggle. But, The Classic breakfast sandwich with gluten free sourdough bread, fried egg, aged cheese, chicken sausage, honey, and sea salt really hit the spot! So good! Atmosphere was great and Isabella, our waitress, was super sweet and attentive. Highly recommend if in the St Louis area!

Enjoyed this meal thoroughly! Juice was delicious, and the waitress brought us an extra juice to try. She was such a great server! I ordered the Combo (breakfast sandwich they are known for) and my wife ordered the Farm Toast. Mine was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever tasted. Egg over easy, applewood bacon cooked to perfection, melted aged white cheddar, a little bit of local honey, on thick, grilled sourdough bread, lightly toasted and dusted lightly with salt flakes. My wife’s was unbelievably gluten free. The toast was dusted with cornmeal. And the texture was like non-crumbly cornbread. It was smothered in apple puree, a malted whip cream and a little syrup. Delicious! I highly recommend this place. They take reservations; we didn’t have any, but we only waited less than 10 minutes. Just go. Same owners of Kounter Kulture. Both are moving to a new building together very soon. Hopefully the move will provide better parking (parking at Songbird is street parking, and they are pretty busy, so you may have to walk a bit).

Made a stop here on our road trip and I’m so glad we did! Even though there was a little bit of a wait (10 min) we enjoyed a quick walk around the neighborhood before being seated on the patio! The server Blaine (good I spelled it right) and staff are extremely friendly and attentive to your dining experience. We ordered the Lox and The Combination Breakfast Sandwich with a side of cheddar grits. Our drinks were the Songbird Latte and Beet It, which both exceeded our expectations! So good that my boyfriend went for a second! What makes this place special is their food is all locally sourced and it is seasonal. I like knowing what I am consuming is healthier and makes me appreciate this spot more. It’ll definitely be on my radar next time we are back in St Louis! Highly recommend 9/10! (Docket point only because the lox is a little fishy, but other ingredients mask it well)

Food was just fine, nothing special. A little bit too expensive just for a normal breakfast that I could’ve made at home. Overall our experience wasn’t bad, but seeing how passive aggressive the owner is in responding to negative feedback, this isn’t a place i’d want to support again in the future.

Incredible food & experience. 10 out of 10. You have to try the Combo Breakfast Sandwich with the honey.

A must-stop for anyone traveling. Might reserve a table in advance. But definitely worth standing outside for.
