It was loud because a lot of people were celebrating birthdays. It was still nice as we too celebrated a birthday. Granddaughter got a cup of ice cream with chocolate sauce for it being her birthday. We had the sirloin, fries, mashed potato, strawberry lemonade, sweet tea,cactus blossom and new york strip. Everything we ordered was very good. The fresh dinner rolls are amazing. Cinnamon butter was SO good. First time we’ve had it. Grandkids gave a thumbs up. The waitress was the BEST waitress we have ever had anywhere. She was friendly, service with a smile and didn’t rush us or have bad attitude because we took our time since it was our first time visiting. To me the prices were high because of the steak. Everything was very good. The place was clean. All the staff were friendly. We liked it. Spending time with family and enjoying a good meal. Will recommend to friends and family. Yes we will be back. Awesome waitress , good food and family. Can’t beat that. I liked how they posted its not a peanut free place outside the door.

Had outstanding service from the moment we entered through to the moment we left.
Andy was our waitstaff and he was very helpful throughout our meal, ensuring that we had drinks (and refills before reaching the bottom of our glass). He kept us apprised of the meal prep progress and let us know about the menu item outage (prime rib) after we had already ordered and were awaiting our meals. He gave us other menu options, reduced price, and threw in some shrimps to sweeten the issue! I have already recommended this restaurant to friends and look forward to eating here again the next time I am in that part of town.

I appreciated being able to call ahead about two hours to get my name in for 6:30p so we could be added to the call ahead list for group of 8. But I’m not a fan of the waitlist instead of actual reservations; being able to make reservations would be better. We still had a 25-30 minute wait when we got to the restaurant. Loved that it was kids night and some of the staff were doing face painting at the front which helped keep our nieces and nephew entertained while we waited and the kids got free desert (sundaes). Our waiter would disappear for long periods of time and it did take awhile to get our meals after ordering our food. Still the best bang for your buck as far as a family friendly steakhouse. Overall we had a good experience and would recommend & return. Much better experience compared to the Shakopee location.

My boyfriend took me out to Texas Roadhouse in AV for Valentine’s Day. Despite it being extremely busy, we were able to sit after 15 minutes. And although the atmosphere can be a little loud from the music, our experience was extraordinary. Our server was super attentive & very kind especially it being very busy she was patient with us & answered all of my questions. During our dining a manager stopped by to make sure things were going smoothly, I think her name was Amanda? She was extremely nice and also conversed with us for a moment. From the start of our valentines lunch to the end, ultimately such a great experience! Our steaks were cooked perfect & it seems like as a whole the restaurant has a great system. Will be going back to Texas Roadhouse in Apple Valley again soon!

A solid ok. Steak was nice and tender but could have used a bit more salt/seasoning. In fairness I didn’t get the signature sauces and those probably add the need flavor boost. Salmon was a bit uninspired. Needed more dill lemon butter pepper and salt. Both ok but not awesome. Do not understand the raving about rolls and cinnamon butter. Both ok but can buy exact same at grocery store. (Sorry hard core fans). Crazy busy and noisy. Festive

Atmosphere is always great! But waitress let dirty dishes pile up at our table, had to wave her down and ask her to take them. Steak is chewy like bubblegum, would not recommend ordering. Chili is good, as were the snakebites!

My server Rianna was fantastic but the manager Amanda was an absolute pill. I came in with a gift card to pay but the computer system was down. I didn’t bring cash but had a 100$ gift card from my parents. Amanda was clearly flustered. But the way she treated my family and I was severely unprofessional. She kept sighing and asking us to just go to an ATM instead of her calling the gift card number into whatever system this business runs under. After all this I asked our server about Amanda and it turns out she has horrible reviews from her employees. There is a yearly employee questionere and she scored so low that corperate is looking into her. I think the food is worth it. But I don’t want to be there when she is there.

Ordered my steak medium well. Another person at my table ordered their steak rare.
My steak was also probably medium rare. It was pure red in the center. I actually brought most of it home to recook in the air fryer since our server (or anyone) did not stop back at our table to check on how our meal was.
I ordered the loaded potatoes. They were cold. The cheese did not even melt on them.
Had to ask another server for more rolls.
Jason the server brought one drink for someone in our party but 2 of us ordered the root beer that comes in a can, we had to wait almost 5 minutes after he brought the first drink to recieve our drinks. I asked for a glass of water also and did not recieve it the whole time.
Jason the waiter was taking care of a larger table at the same time as our party of 3 but it felt like we were being ignored.
Didn’t ask how the meal was. Didn’t ask if we wanted desert. I asked for Veterans discount. Didn’t ask for my Veterans I.D.
Even though I was wearing a Vietnam Veterans hat. And DID NOT give me a Veterans discount on the check.
When I spend $125.00 on a meal I expect more hospitality. Normally we recieve good service at this location. I go to Woodbury location also.
Tom one of the managers contacted me to reply to my post. He apologized for the service and food mistake and said that is NOT acceptable. I will be back to this location. Normally the service and food are great.
