I come all the way, from Valley Stream,NY or Kew Gardens, NY – just to eat at El Rancho Catracho. Call me, “predictable”, but every time I come here, I enjoy the white rice and chicken breast, with refried beans. The beans, are so yummy, and the chicken tender and soft. The establishment, serves a Caesar salad with every meal as apart of the entree accompaniment. I always, also get a glass of red sangria, which is always mixed expertly. The dessert is also prepared well, and there is a a nice presentation that is affixed to the serving of the treat after a meal here. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, and the music is always pumping. I recommend this restaurant to anyone, interested in trying Honduran fare!

Amazing. Got carne asada baleadas, they were super good. Then got carne asada platter. That was one of best things I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend. The menu was completely in spanish, I don’t know if they have menus in english.

Our experience with this Mexican restaurant was disappointing.
Food: The portion size seems inadequate for the price, and the food quality was mediocre. It didn’t meet our expectations for authentic Mexican cuisine, which might have added to the frustration.
Service: The service appeared lacking, with staff showing little interest in non-Spanish-speaking customers, despite being able to communicate in English. This kind of selective hospitality can make diners feel unwelcome, further diminishing the overall experience.
Dining: Although we ordered to-go, the service and food quality didn’t reflect the value you were expecting

Love the food here. The servers are also lovely. Start off your order with the Anafres with chorizo and you won’t be disappointed. I order the fresco naturales they’re all so good. My kids get the mini pupusas and I usually get the salmon with Cesar salad and veggies andbrice. So yummy

Rancho Catracho, alright at most. A bit biased since I used to go here as a kid when the restaurant was smaller but the quality has gone down. The quality of the food was alright but for the price you’re paying for, I’d say it’s not bad. The service was alright, server was a bit passive aggressive and rushing, the wait time for the food is decent 20 maybe 30 mins depending on what you ordered. The atmosphere is pretty though, I’ll give em that, the songs played go along with the atmosphere.. Overall, a 3 star is a very reasonable rating.

This restaurant is getting worse every day. The food is good, but the waitresses and service are terrible. They made a mistake with my order. I was within my rights to ask for a refund for something I didn’t ask for and they charged me. They told me they didn’t give refunds. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me that the restaurant does not have a manager. I don’t know how this is possible.
