We ordered the Margherita pizza with buffalo mozzarella and the maltagliati pasta — both were absolutely delicious. The pasta was simply perfect, with beautifully balanced flavors.
For dessert, we had the chocolate mousse, and it was an amazing journey of flavor — rich chocolate combined beautifully with passion fruit and some sort of nuts flavor. A perfect way to end the meal.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely visit again the next time I’m in Lucerne and would happily recommend it to anyone.
We ordered two starters to share; the truffle soufflé and the beef carpaccio, and both were incredible. The plates were spotless by the end! They also serve fresh bread with olive oil and vinegar on the table, and the olive oil is genuinely high-quality and delicious.
For mains, we had the fresh porcini ravioli and the truffle tagliatelle….wow. I travel to Italy often, and this meal genuinely felt like dining there rather than in Switzerland. The flavours were so authentic, and the portions were generous, but still too good not to finish!
For dessert, we tried the tiramisu and the Lindt mousse. The tiramisu was excellent and very authentic; the mousse was good too, just not as mind-blowing as everything else.
Aside from the amazing food and lovely atmosphere, the service was impeccable. A special shoutout to our waiter, Vincent Macella, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. He truly elevated the whole experience.
Highly recommend, can’t wait to return!
It’s easy to understand how this Italian restaurant in Luzern earned its stripes in the Gault&Millau 2025 guide and its Michelin star ⭐️ rating in 2019.
Among the delights I would recommend include:
Soup: Crema di Zucca
Mains: The sea bass
Deserts : The Tiramisu and Panna Cotta.
I would recommend booking in advance. It was an enjoyable dining experience that’s certainly worth repeating.
I had the special 3 course menu and was in love from the first bite with the truffle.pasta. The homemade pasta and fresh truffles were perfectly balanced with the buttery sauce and not too heavy. The veal tenderloin with mushroom risotto was so hearty and delicious. The sauce on the veal was amazing and just the right touch. And that risotto was perfectly cooked. The tiramisu was unique by being served in a thin crisp shell and was the perfect ending to a fabulous meal.
We enjoyed sitting in front of the open kitchen and watching all the action which made the experience even better. I would definitely return here and love to try their pizzas with looked so good!
The place had a lively atmosphere and there was a birthday celebration happening, which added to the charm. Service was friendly but a little slow, likely because the restaurant was packed during the dinner hours. Still, it’s a great place for a nice Italian dinner, especially if you’re here for the pizza or celebrating something special.
Pizza, salad and beer were fabulous and tiramisu was fantastic. Thank you Bruno and staff for a great experience our last night in your beautiful city !
