First time at Johnny Russo’s Italian Kitchen, and we’re so happy we went! We wanted to take the family out for something different and have been wanting to try this place. I saw a coupon on Facebook and called to ask if they would honor it, they said yes, which was so nice! My husband, our son, and I all had the coupon special, spaghetti, salad, and bread. Our daughter ordered her favorite, the chicken Alfredo, and was very happy she did, the portion alone was huge! The salad with house-made ranch was delicious, and the bread was like biting into a cloud. Everything was so flavorful. Our waitress, I think her name was Rebecca, was really friendly and attentive. We left completely stuffed with plenty of leftovers and can’t wait to go back!

I recently visited this Italian restaurant in Banning with 4 adults and 2 children. I was honestly very excited to find a nice Italian place in a small town like Banning.
Overall, the food was good, especially considering it’s a local restaurant in a smaller community. The atmosphere felt warm, family-friendly, and welcoming, which we appreciated.
However, I was disappointed with a couple of things. When we received the bill, there was about a $60 overcharge. When I brought it to our server’s attention, she wasn’t able to clearly explain the charges and simply brought back a new corrected bill without much clarification.
Additionally, I ordered red wine but was served white wine. When I politely asked if it could be changed, the server seemed visibly annoyed, which made the interaction uncomfortable.
That being said, the food itself was enjoyable and the cozy, family-oriented atmosphere is something Banning definitely benefits from. I would consider giving them a second chance and hope the service experience improves next time.

Are we a pleasure to eat. Very clean and thoughtful service. Every occasion we’ve had to eat here we have come away very excited to come back again. The garlic bread is fantastic. I especially like the Italian steak dinner. And my wife loves her Anchovy pizza. I would highly recommend.

I attended a wonderful event today at Johnny Russo’s in Banning, CA, hosted by Supervisor Mr. Gutierrez, and I was absolutely impressed! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was top-notch, and the food—wow!
I especially loved the fresh, crisp salad and the lasagna was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—so rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
A big thank you to Johnny Russo’s for such a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommending it to friends and family.

The service was outstanding. The entire staff was great, but the food was, unfortunately, not good at all. The pizza crust is supposedly made from scratch, but I doubt it. It felt and tasted like a bland frozen pizza and the crust was burnt.

Love this little place. I remember eating the pizza from here as a child. I am a pizza lover and their pizza is some of the best I have ever had, I love the touch of sweetness to the pizza! Their server Kirstie is wonderful. Very patient when ordering and always making sure we have everything we need. Love this Ma and Pa restaurant since my childhood. ♥️

We came here as a family for dinner time for the first time, and let me say Johnny Russo’s Italian Restaurant did not disappoint! We order Italian wedding soup, meat lovers pizza, half &half ( spaghetti/ ravioli), Russo Trio , garlic bread and rolls. The food is freshly made and soo good. The cheese overload in the lasaña (from the trio) was to die for. The spaghetti is kids and adult approved. Great place to come with the family, family style portions which is a plus! We will definitely be returning
