Perfect for sitting quietly on a sunny afternoon, especially when you’re feeling down.
Gourmand Waffle: Liege waffle/banana/whipped cream/caramel. The ultimate sweetness is evident from the ingredients. The waffle was light and crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside; the sweetness of the banana and caramel is mellow and rich, the pearl sugar was slightly caramelized, and the sweetness of the cream was natural and light. Every bite offered a different layer of flavor. But most importantly, it was really sweet, and sweetness is the most soul-stirring enjoyment. It was sweet enough to bring peace, allowing you to temporarily escape the world and focus on this plate of beautiful fairytale.
Café au Lait (Latte): Beautifully layered, with a natural milky aroma. But what does the menu mean by confusing café au lait with latte?

Ventured to Harvard Sq for a quick snack on a chilly fall morning. It was quite busy since it was a Saturday afternoon so people were saving seats before they ordered. I was stuck waiting for a window seat for a while but eventually I got one.
I ordered the Nutella and banana waffle and added whip cream. It was warm and tasted good. I’ve had some fresh to made order waffles before so I couldn’t tell if this was one or if it was warmed, but either way it tasted good. I got a caramel macchiato to drink which was good too.
Interior is very cozy and the colors inside are very warm. I love all the natural lighting and seats by them, but if it’s crowded when you come…good luck….

Hands down the best waffles I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp, Perfectly thicc, Perfectly airy—all at the same time. My personal fave is the Zinneken. It’s got all the best toppings for the biggest sweet tooth. I like to add their natural maple as well, because it reminds me of the ego days where I used to fill each square with syrup, and also because it tastes heavenly. The to go boxes are also super cool and convenient, and they’re always quick with it. Bless!

I went on a Tuesday night, was able to quickly order and got my waffle within the next 2-3 minutes. The space is definitely small but I got a seat very quickly. Waffle was warm, and the Nutella perfect. The prices are fair with $8.99 for a banana and Nutella waffle. It’s great for a freezing, winter day!

Very small place with almost zero signage. Have to see if in the window.
Not sure if the joint is over or next to a train or subway, but the place shakes and rattles frequently.
I would go back and try their espresso next time as well. Top notch espresso machine, but i had already done mine for the day.

Zimneken’s Belgian waffles are undoubtedly one of the best and mouthwatering waffles across Cambridge.
The flavors of chocolate, Nutella, peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla ice cream are amplified when you have them with waffles.
wonder how are they still maintaining the low prices considering the place remains crowded a majority of time.
I’m definitely going to come back to make my taste buds feel heaven.

Was craving for good coffee and a tasty breakfast, so decided to stop by Zinneken’s. The place doesn’t disappoint. Very tasty waffles (got myself the Berry Insanity and topped it off with maple syrup, and my son customized his version with chocolate on top), and real barista-grade coffee. Yum!
The service was amazing and waffles were made fast. Didn’t have much time before my flight from BOS, so quick service was a must. Will definitely be coming back when I’m in town!

I had tea and a waffle here and the staff were super friendly and attentive. I asked for extra hot water for my tea and they were ok with it. The whole place, including the washroom, was very clean.
The café is small with limited seating, so probably not the best spot for groups bigger than 4-5 people
I came just to try the waffle. It was crispy but didn’t have much taste on its own (I got the Brussel waffle). The other waffle we got with toppings was way more delicious. So totally suggesting to add a sweet topping.
They are also famous for their tiramisu latte.

The waffles are as good as they look. They’re dense and chewy with a crisp crunch. Cozy atmosphere and quick service. Great place to work or for a date.
