Tried this place for the first time tonight . Was not impressed. Food was bland , room temp , not a lot of flavor , sweet tea wasn’t sweet . This was the buffet and not the hibachi side . Girlfriend did enjoy the sushi

We’ve been regulars at Plateful Chinese Buffet in DeFuniak Springs, and every time we visit, it feels like coming home. The staff always welcomes us warmly and even remembers our little one, who they absolutely adore! The food is consistently delicious with a wide variety of tasty dishes that keep us coming back for more. It’s also a fantastic spot for families, with a relaxed, kid-friendly atmosphere that makes dining here a joy.
As a family from Germany now living in the States, we truly appreciate the warmth and familiarity we feel here. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a welcoming environment!

It’s beautiful in here. Packed on a Wednesday night. The serving was excellent and the food is great. The chicken with broccoli had tender meat which I have not always experienced so the chef did great

Great selections for the price. Loved the options on the salad bar. Food was hot and fresh. Very reasonable for all you can eat on a weekday….will definitely return.
Have been back a few times now. Frog legs were excellent, chili shrimp and salted chicken were excellent. I will eat there every week!

Nicely done. The food was fresh and hot (that’s hard to manage at buffet). Everything was very tasty, plenty of seafood to choose from and the vegetable dishes were fresh and not overcooked. Family friendly environment.

Parking lot can be tricky for the first timers. Make sure you enter on the east side, bigger lot, and not the west side as you can get trapped pretty easily. Restaurant was clean, forgot to look at bathroom, and staff was always doing something like serving or cleaning so big kudos to them. Food verity was large along with salads and desserts. The sushi and hibachi are available as well but the hibachi steaks is only open Friday-Sunday. The food has a good taste but like someone else pointed out the food was generally cold and you could visibly see with some dishes that they had obviously mixed old with fresh.

Friends of ours had me a birthday party there. My husband, son and I have never had Chinese before. We are in love with this restaurant and we will definitely be back. We had so much fun. The food was delicious and the waitresses were so sweet. They sang to me Happy Birthday and one one the waitresses brought me small cakes on a plate with a candle. One took a picture with me and took a picture of my friends and us. Thank you so much for making my birthday a memorable one!

The food is over the top good! As far as the service it was mediocre at best. But the food far outweighed any service issues that we had. Refills are almost non-existent through the waitress. But this was our first visit to this location. It will not be our last because the food was that good.

This place was well worth the hour drive from Geneva AL. The food was very delicious and hot. They even made me some sushi cause they were out of the ones I wanted. Thank you for this awesome experience!!!! We will return
