Really enjoyed this place. Food was amazing we had apps only though. Huge portions not stingy at all with the food. It has Lots of flavor. Good happy hour prices for two hours on drinks. The buffalo shrimp is loaded with blue cheese which is not good and the pasta is beyond loaded with garlic, chicken tenders have too much batter on them as well.

Excellent Dining Experience
We dined with family and friends, including children and our dog, and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is genuinely pet-friendly; they even offered a small cookie to our dog, which was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture.

We chose to sit outdoors due to our pet, and the setting was very comfortable and pleasant. The interior appeared beautiful, elegant, and well designed, creating a refined atmosphere.
The food was excellent, the service professional and attentive, and the overall ambiance ideal for an enjoyable evening.
Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Finally tried this spot after walking by it so many times. We came during happy hour and sat outside. Ordered a margarita, the biscuits, Brussels sprouts and raw + Rockefeller oysters.

The oysters were delicious. Really enjoyed them! The biscuits were on the smaller side but really great flavor. The brussel sprouts were good but a tad bit too salty, we couldn’t finish the plate. I hope they refine that menu item a little and use less salt. That’s my only recommendation based on the things we tried. Overall, really enjoyed our experience and the server was really nice. Will def try again!

We were fortunate to be invited to the Friend and Family Night! Thank you, Tracy and Jess! I forgot to take a picture of the mussels with chorizo, but they were to-die-for!
The oysters Rockefeller, and cherry glazed riblets were delicious!
We shared a 1/2 dozen raw oyster tray with northern east, west and B.C. oysters. Just perfect!
The shrimp were overcooked, but we really enjoyed the sauce.
We really love the ambiance! So many new restaurants seem to try and pack patrons in. They did a beautiful job renovating this space from the former, Zoey’s. There is a gorgeous wrap around indoor/ outdoor bar area with what looked like communal tables to the right when you enter. Just past the host stand, there are large round tables with jelly fish type lights dangling above and offer a sight line to the nearly open kitchen, and the shucking bar, which is not on the sidewalk-like the OG spot-but well positioned. The wall at the entrance was beautiful quartz or marble, and just stunning when back lit.
Excited to have this gem back in town! ❤️

I loved this place so much, it was like a soft lux raw bar, something lowkey but still indulgent. The oysters were glistening and full-bodied with a punchy brine. Very clean flavors, very fresh ocean flavors. This felt so indulgent, but we had to get two dozen. The drinks were also immaculate— cheap, strong, but still balanced enough. If you love oysters, this is definitely a place to go, but the menu has so many options. The decor was cozy and the servers were all so kind and helpful. Truly enjoyed this place for happy hour, definitely would recommend

The new place is so nice! Great atmosphere! Their oysters are so and fresh- just like their old location. The fish spread was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes.
They do have a Oyster Happy Hour. $1 from 4p-5p!!
They have a nice section with outdoor seating and an outdoor bar.

Hands down my new favorite spot. From the moment you sit down, everything is done right. The steak is cooked perfectly, the oysters are fresh and incredible, and the appetizers are some of the best I’ve had anywhere. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu at this point, and not a single dish has disappointed. The quality, flavor, and consistency are unmatched, and you can really tell how much care goes into every detail. This place never misses and is an absolute must-try.

Had a long leisurely meal, the waitress was attentive but gave us sufficient peace. Food was excellent, atmosphere was good though not rich. I have to say the macadamian old fashioned was the best old fashioned I’ve ever had.
I’d come here again.

Was very excited to visit the new location, BEAUTIFUL inside with nice moody vibes! Food was an absolute 10/10. Started with the raw oysters and mussels, and then filet mignon with a side of potatoes, green beans, asparagus, and risotto. No notes, food was perfectly cooked and seasoned! Drinks are also delicious! We had the Blackberry bourbon smash and the Walnut old fashion. Our bartender Billy was phenomenal, he always brings the good vibes and drinks! Definitely check this place out! 🙂

“The Oyster Bar: Where Salinity Is a Personality Trait and Crackers Are a Lifestyle Choice”

If you don’t like oysters, don’t worry—The Oyster Bar on Central Ave will politely but firmly change your mind. This place is basically a TED Talk on oysters, except instead of a PowerPoint you get a tray of briny perfection and a lemon wedge that means business.

The menu reads like a coastal road trip: Virginia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Prince Edward Island, British Columbia… I half expected TSA to ask for my passport when I ordered an Oyster Flight. Salinity percentages? Flavor notes? Sweet, briny, mineral, cucumber finish? These oysters have backstories.

But let me save you some time and some dignity:
Eat your oysters Louisiana style.
Cracker. Lemon. Crystal hot sauce. Period. Anything else is just small talk.

Highlights include:

House Oysters & Flights – because commitment is scary and variety is responsible.

OB Rockefeller & Lighthouse Oysters – baked, smoky, cheesy, and fully aware they’re the favorite child.

Herb Bay Biscuits – warm, flaky, and emotionally supportive.

Black Cherry BBQ Ribs – absolutely no business being this good at an oyster bar, yet here we are.

Truffle Waffle Fries – proof that potatoes can be fancy without being annoying.

And let’s not ignore the bold confidence of Aphrodisiac Hour (4–5 PM). One-dollar oysters and two-buck chuck? I don’t know who named it, but they knew exactly what they were doing.

Everything here tastes fresh, intentional, and like it was prepared by someone who deeply respects seafood—and possibly fears the ocean just enough to do it right.

Bottom line: If you’re on Central Ave and not slurping oysters at The Oyster Bar, you’re doing downtown St. Pete incorrectly.
Bring friends. Bring an appetite. Bring Crystal hot sauce energy.
