Reviews
Edit: I didnt think it could, but It got worse. Wrong drink, medium fries instead of the large I had purchased and paid for, food freezing cold from what I assume was sitting in a bag on the counter for half an hour, the ineptitude of this McDonalds knows no bounds. Based on the countless other 1 star reviews preceding this one about how this place used to be at least decent, but now has descended into the depths of disappointment, Im sure the owner will comment “Sorry, thanks for the review”, but nothing will change and I highly recommend you avoid this place at all costs.
1st vehicle, He was dropping food off at a vehicle, turned around and began yelling at the vehicle pulling in. At first I thought it was me, but he didn’t even seem to realize cars drive through parking lots (on account of he didn’t even look before crossing in front of me), still yelling at this other vehicle.
It did not look like the vehicle did anything wrong. It seemed more like this employee thinks they are above the customers they serve.
2. Upon leaving, same said employee, crossed the parking lot without looking (again) and started complaining loudly about/to a black truck he was bringing food to. Saying they should park better, and something about they can “walk in themselves” to get their food.
I couldn’t hear the entire conversation as I was trying to pull out onto a very hectic road.
I would love to know why this employee thinks it is ok to do this to customers.
What ever happened to respecting the customers? After all, without customers, no one there would have a job.
Is this what McDonalds management allows?
Just a note as well, I have had several bad experiences at this location and today just happened to be the tipping point for me.
I have gotten wrong orders, rude customer service, food not even wrapped in the packaging, bad apples, rude customer service etc.
I know nothing will come of this, but I just wanted to say that I’m not going to eat here any more because it just makes me angry and sad.
Granted I went there late, it was 2:45 AM, I work third shift, and was on break. I was the only person at the drive thru, the woman who was taking orders snapped that they were only taking cash, which wasn’t a big deal. I ordered a Large Double Quarter Pounder Meal with a coke and 2 Double Cheese Burgers. as I was pulling forward, the woman screamed again that they were only taking cash.
When I got to the window, there was a man standing there, who wasn’t wearing any sort of uniform. He told me my total was $15 even, which seemed odd, I handed him a $20 dollar bill and watched as he fumbled with a key to open the register, which again seemed really odd to me, then once he finally opened the drawer he spent a solid 2 minutes, not even kidding, grabbing bills and putting them back in, after all that, he only gave me $4.50. I was confused and he told me that “if I was curious about the change it was because I’m was lazy and not to tell my boss.” I told him that he shorted me 50¢ which shouldn’t even be an issue considering he owed me $5 even. That’s when he told me that the order was actual $15.50. So I asked for the receipt, just to double check. That’s when he told me that they couldn’t give me a receipt because their registers were down, and they were writing orders down as they were coming in. I’m not quite sure how they came up with the process, but whatever and gave up on trying to get the 50¢ he owed me.
After about 15 minutes, he came back to the window and asked me what my order was again, I was getting upset at this point, but told him my order again. He said okay and walked back out behind the window.
Then, about 10 minutes after that, he told me to pull ahead and they’d bring the order to me. So I pulled forward by the door and shut off my engine considering I’d been tthere for a half hour with the engine running wasting gas.
Another 15 minutes later they finally brought out my meal. Again I showed up at 2:45 AM, and didn’t leave there until 3:30.
The fries were half full, and burnt, I received a single quarter in a double quarter pounder box, and everything was ice cold.
I really wasn’t going to write this review, but I emailed McDonald’s about this 2 days ago and haven’t heard a word back about this, not so much as a confirmation email.
If you’re a manager there, I highly suggest you take a look at your cameras Tuesday September 29, at 2:45 AM and find out what your crew was trying to pull.
Order for 4, was hot fresh and fast.
