They offer food but I ate before. It was my first time in this place recently. It has nostalgic charm. I went in the winter so there outside wasn’t even set-up. I could tell this place has a history that is deep and rich. Its a good vibe with exceptional craft beverages. Its a comfortable place that would be my local hang out if I was closer.

The Thirsty Pig was a great dinner stop and easily handled our big 11 person party.
Food: Everyone was impressed by the quality of the hotdogs and the sausage sampler was a great showcase of some more unique flavors. Our only complaint, was that the sample sausages did not come with buns like the regular sausages.
Service: The staff was speedy with drinks and was very pleasant at every interaction.
Atmosphere: Even though it was starting to get chilly out the tall walls made outdoor seating very cozy. I would definitely check out the shelf of board games for before and while you’re eating!

I went here for lunch with a friend a week ago. They had so many great options. I got the Viking Dog. It was so good!! They staff was very friendly. Definitely gonna go back next time I’m up in Maine!

We ordered some hotdogs as well. I had „The German“ with mustard, sauerkraut and pretzel bites and my girl had the „Poor Man‘s Philly“ with peppers, mushrooms, onions and cheese sauce.
Both were really god and flavorful.
Would definitely come again.

If you have time for one bar in Portland this should be it. We felt very lucky to have this place recommended and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We even caught a local musician Cryin Caleb who was truly phenomenal

Stopped in for the most delicious dogs and kielbasa. Cocktails and draft beers are served ice cold. The owner was behind the bar, and just the most phenomenal person you will ever meet. She made everyone feel welcomed. A delightful afternoon hanging and laughing with the locals.

I got the Icelandic hotdog and it was a pretty good, normal hotdog but missing some key components of a traditional Icelandic hotdog (crispy fried onions and brown mustard). It was pretty busy and quite loud, but there was live music which was cool. There is very little indoor seating.

Went in for an early dinner. I enjoyed the Maine blueberry sausage and my boyfriend had the Dank dog and the Spicy McFirepants. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. The dogs/sausages were fully loaded. The service was great, everyone was nice. We went in during a quiet time so I can’t say the atmosphere was amazing but I did enjoy that there was a movie playing. I would definitely go back!
