Giovani’s is a family-owned restaurant and sports bar that has been on this very block of Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia since 2003. We serve pizzas, hoagies, cheesesteaks, pasta, and more. Our full bar is surrounded by high-top tables and TVs on every wall, which makes us the neighborhood go-to for lunch, happy hour, late night eats, and of course – the place to watch the game!

Giovani’s is tucked away on Chestnut Street, I’ve walked past it a million times and finally stopped in for a slice!
Their vodka margarita pizza was next level. Crispy, good amount of sauce to cheese ratio. Added some red pepper flakes and it was perfect. The service was so friendly and I loved the ambiance – very homey.
I’ll definitely be back in the future!

This is a great restaurant for all things wings, pizza and cheese steak. The staff is animated and professional. The vibe is trendy. And the food is fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant location.

I have been coming too Giovanni’s since I’ve moved to Philadelphia , and when I say this bar makes you feel at home I couldn’t ask for a better atmosphere . Everyone is so nice is welcoming , Kandis & Chelsea are the absolute best always greeting me with smiles and hugs . The food is great the music is always on point and the drinks are delicious. Definitely my go to spot come check them out any day of the week .

Great place to watch a game. Pizza and salad were fresh, cocktails were great, and the bar service was excellent. Drinks aren’t cheap, and note that a 20% tip was automatically added to my tab. I didn’t mind since that’s what I’d leave anyway, but just something to be aware of.

This was a takeout order and we found the Mediterranean fries (photo) to be the highlight, especially the sweet potato fries. Cheesesteak was fresh but the bread was not tasty & not up to standard as other Philly cheesesteak establishments. Chicken cutlet was a generous portion and tasted good though could have been a bit more flavorful.

I went in randomly to see what kind of pizza they had in slices. To my surprise they had a variety of choices and all fresh. I ordered a slice and can ginger ale they even gave me a small pack of gummies for a little snack .Pizza was fresh and tasty. The staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was cozy. When I finished my food and looked for the trash can is when I realized it was a whole bar and more tables to dine at in the back..I have to go back after work hours to try the bar out and come back with another review

This was our second time there and we can’t wait to come back again! The food is always amazing and the service is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommend! We got the chicken parm sandwich on a seeded roll and the vodka chicken parm sandwich on a regular roll.

My bestie Zack met me after my work shift in minus 11 degree weather and we were freezing. We stumbled into Giovani’s and were honestly so pleasantly surprised. This place has everything you want after a long day. Great pizza, strong drinks, amazing food, sports on screen, and a relaxed welcoming atmosphere.
We grabbed seats at the bar and were greeted by Nia, a beautiful young lady who was incredibly attentive and moved behind the bar like a total pro. Service like that sets the tone right away. We started with Ketel One dirty martinis and ordered the hummus with fried onions and mushrooms. It was made fresh and it was hands down the best hummus I have ever had. The pita bread was perfectly done too.
We wanted to sample more so we went for the vodka margarita pizza and the vodka penne with sausage. Yes there was a lot of vodka involved in our night Everything was absolutely delicious. Every bite hit.
The employees were friendly and genuinely seemed happy to work there, which always makes a difference. The food was impeccable, the vibe was warm and upbeat, and the location right in the heart of Center City makes it perfect for after work drinks and dinner. They also offer a happy hour menu which is a huge plus.
This is officially our new spot. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Pizza by slice available and tastes really good. No vegan option yet and a very few vegetarian options available. Ambience and service seems to be good as we just went for take away and did not dine-in.
Veg pizza and cheese pizza were delicious. Slice was quite big and filling. Crest was too good.
