Traditional Southern Italian cuisine served in an industrial-chic restaurant that has a rooftop bar.

To be completely honest, I would have given 5 stars for service if the hostess wasn’t cold and abrupt with us. My boyfriend made lunch reservations for Valentine’s Day at 1:45pm yesterday. We walked inside and there was a couple already sitting on the bench as if they were waiting on their table. As we approached the hostess stand, the hostess with the dark hair came sauntering over and when my boyfriend started to tell her we had a reservation, she curtly cut him off and told him the other couple was there before us and she’d get to us when she was done with them. She could have at the very least let him get his sentence all the way out first and then said she will seat us after she takes care of them. That was a rude start. I wasn’t happy. He told me to let it go and I did. She came back and took us to our table and her overall demeanor was still cold. Our server Dylan was FANTASTIC. His vibe really saved the afternoon. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the calamari and fried mozzarella! Everything was hot and fresh. For our entrees, I had the ditalini and he had the paccheri. The pasta was cooked perfectly as well as the shrimp and mussels in mine and his short rib was amazing. Our food was hot and flavorful and fresh! Dylan brought us extra Parmesan and crushed red pepper flakes and that took the dishes up another notch. I enjoyed the Italian Blush cocktail and if you enjoy gin drinks, get that one. My boyfriend had the whiskey sour and that was equally as good. We didn’t indulge in dessert but we did receive 2 complimentary glasses of Prosecco so that was definitely a nice touch. Dylan even went as far as to write on our receipt and put a heart sticker on it to “have a killer time” at the serial killer exhibition which was our next stop after lunch! I’ll definitely request to sit in his section next time. We enjoyed the food and Dylan’s service so much that we will definitely be back. Hopefully the hostess will have a better attitude and I can amend this review so that the service reflect that.

She expressed a craving for light Italian fare, though the notion was so paradoxical that we briefly wondered whether such a thing exists beyond myth. After a period of earnest searching and philosophical resignation, we settled upon Grana.
It was a Monday evening and the restaurant world lay in a state of genteel slumber. We fortified ourselves with cocktails while attempting, in vain, to order modestly. We chose the meatball flight, pleasant enough with a curious play on flavors, though priced as if each sphere had been blessed by the Pope himself. A sum so offensive it drove us to drink more, purely on principle.

Incredible food, amazing service and comforting atmosphere! We ordered a little bit of everything, the meatball flight, fried mozzarella, crispy potatoes, Caesar salad and the Roni pizza, all were delicious but I will be back again soon for that pizza, it was so flavorful and has a unique twist on pepperoni pizza with the chili honey! (Happy hour has some good deals too)

Wowoweewa. Big day today. Pulled an all nighter last night for some fraternity. Can’t say what because of confidentiality or some agreement. The day was rough but now it’s going to be a great night out. Food and service were amazing. Amazing pizza, thinking of Dave portnoy pizza reviews. My friend who is kinda fat gave it a good review like a 7.7 I think. I ate way too much and now I’m scared that I will throw up if I drink too much tn. Hopefully not. Anyways midcourt was alright but sad and the food was solid. My Beli gave it a 7.2 but I rate it sounds the same at a 7.5 because of the experience and atmosphere.

While visiting my brother in law, he took us to Grana because he said it was one of his go-to spots in ATL. We really enjoyed the meatball flight, chicken cutlets, pizzas, and paccheri. Our server was attentive and the food came out from the kitchen quickly. They offered for us to sit on the rooftop, which sounded like a good idea, but it was super windy when we got up there. We appreciated that the staff was really nice and accommodating about letting us go back downstairs. All around a great meal!

Made a reservation for 18 people, wasn’t sure how it would go considering how large our party was. We were served by Riley, she was amazing, genuinely one of the best servers I ever had. She was thorough, patient, attentive and just pleasant. She made our experience so much better. And as far as the food, it was amazing! The pizza, meatballs, mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, pasta. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Thank you Grana and team!

If you live in the A you know you have to make reservations 2 months in advance due to the high volume of people celebrating whatever Holiday. Well, I forgot but Grana on Piedmont had some open spots so I made reservations there for me and the wifey on Valentine’s Day. Extremely happy that we did because we ended up having Hannah as our server. She was fantastic! Told us about the menu, made suggestions, and even shared a common interest in fresh garlic with me. The food was hot, fresh, and looked as advertised. The ambience was warm and welcoming. The rooftop was really nice as well and the old fashioned that I had was strong and tasted good. Overall, we are making this a go-to spot for Italian food. Try the meatball flight! It will not disappoint!

I love bringing my Nonna. Not only because she loves the wood fire shrimp, broccolini, and potatoes; but its very accommodating to her being in a wheelchair. We particularly love Grana’s brunch. Brought her in for her 93rd birthday and everything was perfect. The staff even signed a lovely card for her before we left. She was very touched.
@porchettagroup always treats us well, and the food has never disappointed.
