Starting with high quality & always fresh cuts of pork, beef and poultry, delivered daily from the Hunts Point Meat Market in the Bronx. Our Southern Pride Pit is fired with local hard and fruit woods and is capable of smoking up to 700 Ibs. of meat at a time. Together with low temperatures and the rotisserie action we are able to achieve the perfect smoke ring.

This was the second time I’ve ate here, and just like the first time, everything was amazing. The staff was quick and attentive. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the Texas Twinkies as a starter! This time I went with the meat combo and the pulled pork was done just right! Will 100% be going back to this place more often.

This is probably the 2nd time that I have ever written an unfavorable review of a restaurants. I am 52 and I go out to eat at least twice per week. Sat night I decided to to take my mother to see a concert at the pachogue theater. It was an 8pm start time and so I chose this restaurants because it had lots of good reviews, I like BBQ and it was close to the theater. We arrived 730pm and sat down with no wait. The environment was casual and it felt like a local spot. We ordered our food quickly due to the 8pm start time. My food came out first. I ordered the giant pretzel and brisket sandwich. It was fine and no real complaints. My mother’s order never came out. I asked the waitress what happened. She said she forgot the order. At that point it was too late because we were going to be late for our concert. The concert was the priority and not dinner. My mother was hungry and so we shared my food. The manager came over and we complained about the forgotten order. She said, ” what can I do to make it right”. Its unwise to let a customer to walk out unhappy because they could write a bad review online. This review was avoidable. I asked her to comp us for the dinner. We are talking about a sandwich and a giant pretzel. My mother had one glass of wine. Her response was I cant do that. What! Thats bogus! Of course the manager has the ability to comp our dinner. Instead she gave us a 20 percent discount. My mother and I left dissatisfied and unhappy. The service sucks and they screwed up. Mistakes happen all the time and thats not the issue. I felt this restaurants didn’t handle this mistake appropriately. We definitely will not go back. I am writing this message for the owner of the restaurant… Eric.
Eric train your staff with the idea that no customer should walk away unhappy and take full ownership of all mistakes. 20 percent ownership is not enough! Taking 100 percent ownership is the only way to resolve all problems.
I hope this was a lesson and doesn’t happen to another customer.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, so yesterday we finally did, and we can’t wait to go back. The pulled pork was so tasty, and so was the burger one of my sons ordered. The onion rings, pulled chicken, shrimp and appetizers were perfect too. The service was spectacular.

I have to say, something changed here! I loved this place, but it’s terrible now. Absolutely horrible service at bar( literally zero service at bar, from the manager apparently) and tables. Booked a high top table for a special event and was given a booth. Specifically asked not to have the booth!! Server was very new like first day new, not her fault but had no back up from her coworkers. Will never come back unfortunately, and will obviously tell my friends don’t waste you time or hard earned money. Way too many other choices. Sad, just sad. Be better!!

WOW. This restaurant with transport you to the heart of Austin, in the best way possible. The food was spectacular and I truly do not think I have ever tasted more delicious shrimp than from here. The live music was what drew us into this place and we were beyond happy it did. The atmosphere and food were simply amazing. This place is definitely a gem

Great place . Nice atmosphere. Loved the seasoning and sauce on the chicken. The sliders were fresh juicy and delicious! Service was strange as she seemed to need to ask someone everything we asked about but prompt and friendly. I would definitely go again!

If you’re craving for good ol’ American barbecue, then you can’t go wrong in coming here to Bobbique. The St. Louis-style ribs are a must get! BBQ jumbo wings are also great, and the BBQ skewered shrimp will make you want a whole tray of them. Smoked sausage has that perfect snap, though it was a bit saltier for our palate. Pulled pork was excellent. We also got the sliced brisket tray, and it was super tender, melt-in-your-mouth good.
The sides were okay accompaniments to the mains. The ambience was also on point for an American styled barbecue place. Apparently, there are sometimes live music featured as there is a stage set, but the day we went no musicians were on scene. Super friendly wait staff as well!! Highly recommended!

Somehow while traveling to eastern Long Island with my daughter for softball we were transported to somewhere reminiscent of the South. As soon as I saw the door handle on the front door, I said this place should be good. The live band playing some southern rock and blues perfected the atmosphere. I believe the band is there every Wednesday
Simple set up inside with many high top tables with butcher paper for table clothes. Long bar on the left with plenty of room for friends to gather. Stage for live music in back left.
Our waitress, Talia S. was phenomenal. I started out a bit concerned as brisket wasn’t a choice for the meat selections when choosing multiple proteins in a platter. If you want brisket, it will have to be a separate meal. We always like to try multiple items to get an accurate assessment of our bbq endeavors. So ofcourse we had to order way too much for two to eat in one sitting. No worries as dinner is already done for tomorrow night.
Some places have great brisket, others have great pulled pork or ribs. In my opinion, a great measure of how good a bbq place is, just try their cornbread and coleslaw. Luckily, that wasn’t the case here. the cornbread was the only thing we didn’t praise.
We tried the burnt ends as an appetizer, brisket, pulled pork, smoked sausage (kielbasa), and St. Louis ribs . All the proteins were excellent. Great bark on all and the flavor was fantastic. Everything was moist. Many places have dried out pulled pork, sausage or brisket and they try to overcome that with a ton of sauce. Not the case here. Great moisture content in everything especially the ribs. The flavor is in the meats and not smothered in overbearing sauces.

I’m not even the type to leave reviews, but I have to because I just dropped over $100 for the worst food I’ve ever had. I’ve had good barbecue food before this place was so subpar And such a waste. Don’t even get me started about the drinks. Nothing that I ordered was good or had a wow factor by any means. Save your time and money and go somewhere else in Patchogue!
