Reviews
Experience Halal Flavors at NYC Halal Eats in Troy, where the food received mixed reviews based on delivery experience.
FOOD QUALITY : The food tasted okay, but unfortunately, the delivery experience affected the overall enjoyment. The fries became soggy, and the food didn’t maintain its intended texture due to packaging issues.
SERVICE & HOSPITALITY : The service, particularly with the delivery, was disappointing. The food was mixed up in the box, and the packaging was inadequate, causing the food to arrive flipped and not properly organized.
AMBIENCE & SETTING : The restaurant itself, while not reviewed in-depth here, likely offers a decent atmosphere. However, the main issue was with the delivery experience, which isn’t reflective of the in-house dining experience.
VALUE FOR MONEY : Given the issues with food quality and delivery, the value for money was not up to par. The price did not justify the disappointing presentation and packaging, especially considering that some food items arrived in less-than-ideal condition.
LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY : Conveniently located in Troy, NYC Halal Eats is easily accessible, making it a good choice for those in the area looking for Halal options. However, the packaging and delivery experience need significant improvement to match the convenience.
In summary, while NYC Halal Eats in Troy offers okay-tasting food, the poor delivery service, inadequate packaging, and soggy fries make it less than ideal for takeout. Improvements in packaging and service could enhance the overall experience and make it a more reliable choice.
We ordered the chicken quesadilla, few different platters and fries.
Wouldn’t recommend the monster platter over the other platters. Only thing they add is 2 falafel and it cost more for platter. Not worth the extra charge.
Chicken did have a lot of red coloring whether it’s from marinating or food coloring not sure. But it’s not bad.
Rice was flavorful for the platters and proteins weren’t bad. No real dinning option except 2 tables outside. So if you come you might have to do take out.
Overall I would recommend.
Food was fresh and decent portion size for the money . Flavor is a mix of Indian and middle Eastern
