Stopped in tonight. Love the decor. My server was a tad slow, had to ask a fre times for my water to drink, she forgot it twice. Food came in a timely manner even though the place was packed on a Tuesday night. I started with cucumber salad, miso soup and I got a double spicy tuna roll and the Amazing tuna roll. Everything was very tasty, I’d go back.

It’s a large place, and if you have a big appetite and enjoy sushi, you can definitely get good value for the price (it’s not cheap, but it’s not overly expensive either). The sushi has a good flavor overall.
I initially thought they served tonkatsu because that’s how it looked in the photo, but it turned out to be more like katsu (tenpura) made with chicken or fish only. Even so, the taste was good, although the rice wasn’t traditional Japanese-style rice, nor did it feel like authentic Japanese rice (“gohan”).
The service wasn’t outstanding, but it wasn’t bad either—just average. Clean restrooms are a nice plus.
Overall, it’s a good place, but not a mind-blowing experience. I’d recommend it if you’re hungry and enjoy sushi, but don’t expect anything extraordinary.

Looooove Sushi Masa and so happy one opened in Metairie! Very spacious with lots of seating available and had no issues getting a table. Service was fast, and food was delicious. Will definitely be my go-to AYCE sushi restaurant

We had an excellent visit at Sushi Masa. The fish is genuinely fresh, much better than many other buffet-style places. Every order came out quickly and correctly—no mix-ups at all, which made the meal stress-free and enjoyable.
It’s also very family-friendly. Kids felt comfortable, and one big plus is that children 4 years old and under eat free, which makes dining out a lot easier for parents.
Overall, great food, smooth service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh sushi without the usual buffet chaos!

The best all you can eat sushi I have ever had. I come here a lot. Place is very clean and very very fast. Staff is pleasant and attentive. I put some sushi down when I am here. Peter is a great server. I Recommend just always buying the dinner even during lunch cause you get the sashimi. You can’t get a more reasonable sushi place.And it’s extremely fresh. Just making this review I want to go right now.

Unbeatable price and dining experience… All you can eat for $31 for dinner and $21 for lunch! Comes with a free drink beer or wine, or soft drink! The food here is awesome and the experience is always good. You can get appetizers, soups, different salads, sushi and sashimi (sashimi’s just for dinner though) and a bunch of rolls. The key is if you order extra and there’s a bunch left over they will charge you for individual rolls or sides that you don’t eat, and you can take them with you. Just be careful ordering the rolls, cuz they can get big and get out of control!

The Sushi Masa in Metairie surpasses the Baton Rouge location by a long shot! The service was great and attentive. They were pretty quick with all our orders. The inside decorum was very spacious and clean. The one in BR had okay service, but the lighting was so dim that it was personally hard to see the menu. As for the food, I can’t even complain! I got their All You Can Eat Dinner option that has a reasonable 2 hour time limit. The Lunch option is around $10 less than the Dinner option, but Lunch ends at 2:30 pm. The sushi quality was really good! I’m more of a sashimi guy, so I definitely ordered a lot of tuna and yellow tail. With tax and not including tip, it totaled to $36.16 which is pretty reasonable considering everything you get with the order. Overall, I’d come back here if you’re on a budget and are craving some sushi!

From the moment you walk in you can tell this is a well-oiled machine, and nowadays this doesn’t happen by accident. Whoever assembled this all-star cast needs to be commended, as management was always visibly present and table service was 10th level attentive. Immaculate location, mind-blowing lunch specials (all you can eat even includes appetizers–the tempura vegetables & shrimp my fav, and desert selections–I’m a matcha ice cream fan girl), and a lunch time atmosphere that was perfect for a “working lunch” with colleagues, but I could easily see it double for a date night destination as well.

First time here and I truly enjoyed everything we ordered. Devin was super attentive and so sweet. I saw dessert and forgot to take a pic. The fried Oreo was delicious and the fried banana was a little too sweet for me but still good. Will definitely be back!
