The food was great. The server was good. I would have been very pleased with the experience if it weren’t for the random off leash dog who arrived part way through our meal. This dog was clearly not a service animal. It wandered around the restaurant making me feel unsafe to walk to the restroom or out of the restaurant.

We stopped for the lunch buffet. We haven’t been to this location since before Covid. It has really changed. We arrived at noon, and ordered drinks. Then got in line for the buffet. Pizza was dried out, spaghetti was literally dried stuff and crunchy, sauce was thick and dried out. It looked like the buffet was going for several hours, what you would expect to see after 1:30pm. But it was just an hour. My pizza definitely wasn’t made fresh today, it was awful. We won’t make the mistake again…..

My wife really likes their 10-in gluten-free cheese pizza. She says the crust is very crunchy and thin. I usually order online and pick it up from the restaurant. It’s kind of hit and miss as to whether or not the pizza is going to be a little on the overcooked side or just right.

Gluten Free Review: While in town for the Mayo Clinic we went to Broadway Bar & Pizza for dinner. They had gluten sensitize items indicated on the menu, which was great. I was surprised as this was such a dive bar feel I wouldn’t expect it. We got the French fries appraiser and gluten free baked potato pizza. Both were good but not my favorite. The wait for the food was a bit long for how empty it was late on a Monday night but the staff was very kind. If you are looking for this type of atmosphere and need gluten free food it’s a good place to try.

While I thought the menu looked promising, the food wasn’t impressive, the ceiling is falling apart and the environment isn’t very pleasant. My husbands food tasted like soap and my drink did not have good flavor. Our server was pleasant but that’s the only positive part of this dining experience.

We went saturday middle of the day. We are like the only ones here. Service was so slow. Appetizers were warm at best. Mac and cheese pizza was undercooked. Men’s restroom was gross. We tired to order 1 pitcher and got individual lemondes as well as a pitcher. This is the Rochester location. Would not recommend.

Brian was an excellent server. Very patient and kind. Food tasted great and you can build your own pizza. I had an Angry Orchard to drink and it was great. Cool thing? They have a train that runs on a track around the inside of the building! They also have a fireplace! I would have added more pictures, but my phone died before I could take more.

In town to be with my brother at Mayo Clinic. Staying not far from Broadway Bar & Pizza. Some locals turned me on to it. Excellent service, great atmosphere, but the real reason to come is the pizza and the staff. Excellent veggie thin crust pizza! Carmen, manager and bartender, is amazing. She cares and does a great job! I’ll be coming back for future Rochester visits! Definitely a place worth checking out.

The pizza, fresh and hot, generous portions of toppings, a good value. I would have preferred a more interesting red sauce but they’ve been doing it for quite a while and seem to have a big following. As advertised, it’s a pizzeria and tavern and they seem to do both just a bit slower than necessary on Wednesday after the bingo(?) game.

I visited Broadway Pizza with my girlfriend and we absolutely loved the pizza. It was cooked well, tasted delicious, and the ingredients were fresh. However, we ordered the donuts for dessert and we were absolutely disgusted when we bit into them. As you can see, they are raw and inedible in the middle. Uncooked food should not have to be a worry when eating out…we left feeling very sick. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone.
