Los Gallos Cocina Mexicana recently opened, and I’ve been meaning to stop in—today after work was finally the day, and I’m really glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome that immediately set the tone. The atmosphere is very nice, comfortable, and inviting, and the customer service is absolutely top‑notch.
I was seated quickly, and it wasn’t long before someone came by to take my order. Water, chips, and salsa were brought out right away, and I have to say—the chips were perfectly crispy and the salsa had excellent flavor. Simple, fresh, and very delicious.
For my meal, I ordered the ground beef enchiladas, and they were outstanding. Full of flavor, well‑prepared, and clearly made with care. I also grabbed a Mexican Coke in the glass bottle, which just hits differently and paired perfectly with the meal.
When I was getting ready to check out, my waitress suggested dessert. She listed a few options, but once I heard churros and ice cream, the decision was made—and wow, that dessert was incredible. A perfect way to end the meal.
I have to give a special shout‑out to my server, Maria. Her customer service skills are next level. She made sure I was taken care of the entire time and truly made the experience even better.
This place is amazing, and I will definitely be back. The only downside is that they don’t serve alcohol—not their fault—but with food this good, a margarita would have been the cherry on top. That said, it won’t stop me from coming back at all.
Highly recommend checking out Los Gallos Cocina Mexicana if you’re in the area!

Second time coming here, I got the pizza-birria and jamaica, AMAZING! Delicious, authentic Mexican food! Their salsas are no joke. If you can’t handle some heat then beware, otherwise you’ll love these. Can’t wait to go back, highly recommend.

Super friendly staff, fast carry out service and clean and welcoming indoor seating. They offer counter seating down the center of the restaurant. This is great for an efficient taco lunch! I can’t wait to try all the daily specials.
Let’s talk food 🙂 Reasonably priced offerings – we tried: crunchy beef tacos, wet chicken burrito, beef burria tacos, and shrimp street tacos. My husband’s favorite were the shrimp tacos and my favorite were the burria tacos. We highly recommend! Fresh ingredients and packed with meats and veggies.

First time here was an absolutely great time. The Asada Fries are a pleasantly uprising twist on nachos. The waffle fries act as the bed for steak, queso, sour cream and the pico de gallo. The fries themself tasted better then you’d expect. Certainly no bottom dollar Gordon Food Service item. The burrito is absolutely massive and quite delicious. I appreciate the construction of the burrito ensuring all contents are mixed together so that each bite is fantastic. The chorizo mix is clearly done in house and is delightfully spicier then your average grocery store chorizo. The price point for food is ridiculous, for $15 I got dinner tonight and for tomorrow night.
If they get a liquor license this place would be a MUST visit. But still worth your time going here – the food is delicious and in an expensive world quite reasonable cost.

Our favorite is the shrimp tacos, street tacos, crunchy tacos and birria tacos. If you’re a birria snob you must try. Expect the wait to be a little longer right now because they have only been open a couple days. It will get better in time once they are in the groove. The queso is really good as well. Chicken fajita burrito was really good. I would say some things could use a little more salt but that’s a personal preference.

Our first time here. Small place with just a few tables but a long bar. No fountain drinks – all cans and bottles, but I appreciated the Coke products.
We really enjoyed the Asada Fries – good sized serving with a little cook. We also enjoyed the Birria tacos and crispy tacos.
Staff was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

10/10, got the gallo burrito TAKEOUT and it is huge, and the best thing i have ever had. Takeout is never as good as the real thing also, i very much reccomend this place.

Really happy that there’s an authentic Mexican restaurant near me that has very fresh and good food! I’ve been searching for a good Mexican restaurant and this place is great. I bought the birria tacos and they were actually fried in consome. Not to mention the meat portion in the tacos was a lot. My new favorite spot.

Food is excellent, whether dine in or takeout! Birria noodles are incredible and a great value for the cost. Pollo con chorizo is great (better than when it was at its best at a certain downtown RO location). Chips are fresh and warm (and without any strange scattered seasoning) and the queso is my favorite in the area. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are so sweet! Absolutely slaps, happily added to our local rotation!
