Amazing tacos and Mexican food. Highly recommend coming on taco tuesdays and they take reservations. All tacos are $6 and the tamarind margarita is super tasty.

The nachos are amazing good choice too for an appetizer. Keep in mind a lot of the pulled meat will be juicy so your taco bottom will come apart quickly so anticipate a messy meal!

I recently visited Casa Mexico and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the service and bar staff. From the moment we were seated, it was clear that the new trainee assigned to our table was not being properly guided by the more experienced staff. He barely checked on us, and instead of stepping in or helping him improve, the other staff just watched from the sidelines. It made for a frustrating and inattentive dining experience.
I ordered the tamarindo drink, which I’ve had before and usually enjoy it should have a balanced sweet and slightly bitter flavor. However, this time it was completely watered down. Even after mixing it well, it still tasted like flavored water. When I brought this up, the bartender with glasses, who made the drink, responded with attitude. Rather than addressing the concern professionally, she coached the trainee on what to say to us, essentially dismissing our feedback.
What really surprised me was their unwillingness to make things right. We were told, “This is how we make it here,” and that they don’t remake drinks or offer exchanges period. It felt more like we were dealing with a rigid family business that prioritizes their process over customer satisfaction, which is disappointing. Most places would either adjust the drink or take it off the bill if the customer isn’t satisfied, but not here.
That said, aside from the drink and poor service from the trainee and bar staff, the rest of the food and atmosphere were good. If they had taken a bit more care in training their new staff and ensuring they deliver decent customer service, it could have been a much better experience.

My favourite tacos in the city. Service is always fast and the food is always great!
If you like margaritas, this is definitely the place for you. They are fantastic and lots of options. Patio photo is from their Preston location.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but my experience at Casa Mexico was disappointing enough that I felt I should.

I ordered a Tamarindo drink, and it was completely watered down with no real flavor. When I politely asked if I could have it exchanged, one of the workers said “that’s how it’s made,” which honestly came across as dismissive and unprofessional. If a customer isn’t happy with something, especially something as simple as a drink, there should at least be some effort to make it right.

On top of that, the service was really lacking. Once we got our food, we were barely checked on at all. It felt like the staff didn’t really care whether we were enjoying our meal or not.

Overall, between the poor customer service and the low quality of the drink, I left feeling dissatisfied. Definitely not the kind of experience you’d expect when dining out.

I went with my daughter as she really was craving for some good tacos. This place given the reviews thought would be a nice place. It was utterly disappointing. We ordered a taco and a trio crispy taco platter . The taco was literally slapped with shredded chicken on the plate with no sides no toppings. Not what you expect . You are better off eating at mucho burrito and other Mexican fast food which are superior than what we found here. Then trio crispy taco plate came with sticky Mexican rice and tacos bland with terrible taste and it was literally precooked thawed . After spending ~60 dollars we still ended up eating another place. I will never be visiting this place again. I would recoiled going to Ahora for authentic taste and other Mexican fast foods but don’t ever try here. It’s a waste of money.

We used to love this place when it was new and just the Merivale location. The menu has since decreased and the quality has gone down. To start, the Mangonada I ordered and always look forward to, was very watered down. They made me another one that was better, but not anything like they usually taste. My siblings all found the tacos good, but my parents and I got the enchiladas and dorados plates. The plates we were served had cold rice and cold beans. They did their best to fix this quickly, but we were disappointed. Then as I was eating the chicken enchiladas, there was something woody in one of the bites I had. I let the server know immediately and he came back from the kitchen to say it was apart of the seasoning they used. I didn’t finish my plate and was pretty turned off at this point. It really seemed more like a wooden piece of toothpick of something, but we didn’t make a fuss. Time came for the bills and nothing was done so we didn’t say anything because we didn’t want to make more of an issue but we will not be back and will no longer be recommending this place to people.

Great vibe in the restaurant and overall experience! I got a classic margarita, quesabirrias, and churros which were all very good. Also got to hear some live mariachi music which was lovely 🙂 highly recommend! ❤️

Tacos were average one tasted and no tanginess or extra ingredients/sauce, tinga chicken taco was soggy and tacos was already teared apart from the liquid that was dripping out
Though cauliflower and fish tacos are good I will say.
Spicy mango margarita had no taste of natural mango or any spice and felt as a generic one
Mistake we did was order mains instead of ordering more tacos, and enchiladas were full on bland with boiled potato filling(couldn’t find any tomato/onion/jalapeno in it) and had no taste though it was something like 27$ odd, it felt like it should be half the price.
Even chirros were not crispy and tasteful.
Service was good but would be great to hear some music to minimize noise from other customers
Overall we felt like we overpaid for a subpar food and experience

Beautiful atmosphere! Food was really nice, the quesabrirria was bit on the soft side but they were very tasty
The bean dip was beyond a spice level I have ever had in my life! My mouth was on fire, had to order a side of guacamole to balance the heat.

I feel like the server could have maybe mentioned that we were about to order the dip that is hotter than hell. Would’ve been a bit helpful.
had to wave the server down a lot for water and napkins as there wasn’t much table attention,

We really loved the ambiance here. The interior decoration was very eclectic with Spanish music playing. The menu also seemed very authentic in terms of what was available. The taco bowl was massive and very tasty. Tacos de Arrachera was so flavourful. Only let down was the chicken quesadillas which was a bit bland compared to the rest of the food we had. That was probably just a bad choice we made. Definitely recommended! Ps: They even have a Mariachi band playing on Friday nights so if a dinner with entertainment is your thing then book ahead.
