A great little burger joint with stellar service, fun decor, and very solid food choices.
Tam’s burgers is a great sit-down restaurant with counterside ordering and regular table service. I recently went there with my adult-age children for breakfast. There’s a vast menu with both American- and Mexican-style entrees serving breakfast, lunch, and some limited supper items. From Nutella waffles to huevos rancheros to burgers, this place can satisfy most cravings. The portions are generous, the food is well cooked and plated, and the flavor is on point.
The staff are all friendly and accommodating. Service was very fast-even as we came in on a minor breakfast rush-and servers will regularly check up on your table and offer coffee warm-ups and condiments/creamers/napkins as needed. Everyone greets you with a smile.
The space is clean and bright, with fun accents and decor, including a beautiful fresca painted on the ceiling. I will say some of the booths need some attention, as some of the upholstery is worn and torn, but it also speaks to the amount of traffic they get as well as where their primary focus is. If the food is good (which it most certainly is) I don’t mind a slightly worn seat. The main dining area is in a large circular room with big picture windows, so if you grab a booth, you’ll be treated to a pleasant view of midtown Yucaipa, which has recently seen a refresh and revitalization.
All in all, this is a fine restaurant with great food and wonderful people, and I look forward to eating here again soon!

Super friendly staff. Good service. Surprisingly lovely atmosphere inside and outside (they have a sky mural on the ceiling and a fountain outside). I could have done without the blaring radio pop music, though. Delicious food but beware the “ticker shock”. The prices seemed very high at first, but then the double burgers and cheesesteak arrived, and they are quite big servings. Inflation sucks but there food does not. The fries are closer to “steakhouse” style and crunchy outside with a fluffy and satisfying inside. Overall 4.45 stars rounded up to 5 because 4.5 isn’t an option and 4 would be unfair. The burgers tasted as though they were flame broiled and well seasoned but not too salty. Very satisfying.

Today, I had the Trouble Burger, a double patty, white cheese burger smothered in buffalo sauce. The burger was darn good, and the service was too.
When ordering, the cashier asked if I wanted the combo, and I told her I just wanted a burger and fries since I had my hydroflask filled with water on me. She put the numbers in the register and told me it would actually be $2 less for me to get the combo than buying the burger and fries separately. I really appreciated her going above and beyond.
The generous serving of fries was hot, crispy, and seasoned with this awesome seasoned salt that put them on another level.

Food here is absolutely first rate… My friends and I come here mostly for the onion rings / zucchini fries, and finally the pastrami sandwich. The portions are quite acceptable and you get what you pay for. Good food with a great taste

If you want affordable slop food, this places has it. Their fries with thousand island sauce or ranch are delicious! We enjoy their burgers, fish sandwich, zucchini sticks, and delicious orange cream drink. They also have Greek gyros and some Mexican food. The service ranges from average to friendly, and the atmosphere feels like some Greek church covered in blue sky walls turned into a burger TV joint. Not a bad thing, just unexpected, the walls are very pretty lol!

Tam’s Burgers has a good selection on their menu. They serve breakfast and lunch items. My husband and I both got their cheeseburger with fries. You get a lot, we will split the meal next time we go. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. Easy to get to, on the main road of Yucaipa. Blvd.

I had the Cali Burger meal and it cost just under $17. The burger was huge, it was delicious and it was loaded with bacon but there was barely any avocado and the bacon was really salty. This is the reason for the score. For almost $17 I’d expect there to be avocado in almost every bite. I know they can be expensive but so was this meal.

Got a sausage breakfast burrito from here. It was delicious and a good size. They have a huge menu and will be coming back to try some more dishes. 6-6-24 Came back to try a burger but the meat is too salty.

Burgers and fries are the thing to get if you are visiting Tam’s Burgers in Yucaipa. This rating is based on our (my wife and I) experience of her steak burrito and the club sandwich. Concerning the club sandwich, it was mediocre. The bread tasted like it was on the shelf too long and was a bit over toasted. The bacon in it was dry and would crumble off here and there. My wife’s steak burrito was a one star. It lacked flavor. The meat was a bit dry and touch to chew at times. The salsa did not help it much and as so my wife got up to ask for more spice and for some limes and lemons. They did not have any other spice to offer other than some whole pepperoncinis. Also the burrito had some stewed carrots in it. That, for us, was just weird and out of place for a burrito. The french fries was the best part of our meals tonight. I will come back to Tams but will stick to eating their burgers and fries.
