Great cheese enchilada plate, rice and beans were on point. Clean restaurant area and friendly staff as well. Huge plus that it’s open 24/7 as well, can always catch a snack whenever you want to.

Fresh, Flavorful, and Friendly!
Valerie’s Taco Shop is a true gem! The food is always fresh, full of flavor, and made with care. Thank you Adam Luise and Daniel!! Their tacos are perfectly seasoned, the tortillas taste homemade, and the salsas pack just the right amount of heat. The staff is welcoming and makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. Whether it’s breakfast tacos, burritos, or a quick lunch, every bite is delicious. Definitely my go-to spot when I’m craving authentic, satisfying Mexican food!

Stopped by here for lunch and ordered the 11$ pastor burrito. I have to say, it was probably the worst pastor burrito I’ve had in years. The meat was bland and lacked any real flavor. Honestly, they should call it the Pico de Gallo Burrito, because that’s basically what it was.
I had to open it up and scrape out most of the pico just so it didn’t taste like I was eating a pico de gallo salad. Another odd thing — they don’t allow food modifications, only add-ons, which is a first for me.
I can’t speak on the rest of the menu, but based on this experience, I won’t be back.

Once again, I was absolutely blown away by the flavors I experienced today! This place is a true hidden gem that deserves way more recognition. Every bite—from the tacos to all the other mouthwatering dishes—was packed with bold, unforgettable flavor. You can tell there’s passion behind every plate. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. Let your taste buds go on a journey—you won’t be disappointed. This fine establishment is a flavor-packed experience you won’t want to miss!

They gave us the wrong order. I ordered a veggie burrito and they gave me the Valerie burrito. It was fine once I picked out a mountain of carne asada, but I feel really bad for whoever got my burrito expecting a meaty one.
The carne asada was tough and very salty, but the tamarind Agua fresca and the cheesecake were great.

Valerie’s is a great spot for late-night Mexican food. The carnitas torta I got was delicious, and the salsas were tasty. Service was quick and friendly. I also appreciate that they’re open 24 hours – it’s a convenient option when you’re looking for a good meal at an odd hour. I’ll definitely be back!

There are days, and for some of us, these days happen frequently, when you just need to stuff your face with a giant burrito filled with eggs, bacon (or whatever breakfast meat you’re craving), and potatoes. If it is, in fact, one of those days, have your GPS guide you here. These burritos really are plenty big enough to share and delicious. Definitely gonna want to pour a healthy amount of salsa roja on that puppy. And enjoy. For tomorrow is another day…

Absolutely fire!! Valerie’s Taco Shop is hands-down my new favorite spot. The papa tacos are straight-up legendary! I’ve never seen a place serve them before, and now I’m hooked, almost as good as my mom’s! Perfectly crispy, flavorful, and packed with deliciousness. We also had the carne asada quesadilla and it was bomb, cheesy, meaty, and just the right amount of grilled.
Bonus points for the vibe inside — they were bumpin’ all the classics: Selena, Ramón Ayala, real ones know! Great food, great music, great energy. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out.

Always good and fresh food and the staff is always friendly plus they’re open 24 hours. I typically order the carne asada fries but I most recently tried a breakfast burrito for the first time and it was delicious. They’re one of the very few restaurants in Dallas thats is reminiscent of what you’d find in Colorado. I’ve never been to Cali so I can’t make that comparison, nevertheless it’s good food and I highly recommend.
