We have always taken the 40 min to hour drive to this restaurant to get indian food. Their have been a few times we got hot or medium instead of mild. They have made it right. We have been to Grill of India over 25 times and they really do have great food. Staff is ok and helpful most of time. Today one employee was prickly and didn’t want to make our gallon of Mango Lassi that we get everytime we go. Mind you we always get takeout and our orders are $200+ each time. They usually help me or my husband get it to our car as well. If you want some great food go here. Make sure you reiterate hot mild medium.

Every single time we eat here it’s delicious. The quality is fantastic. The flavors are amazing. My personal favorite is the lamb curry. The lamb is so tender. I can not recommend the food enough. Photos are Tandoori sampler, lamb tiki masala, and shrimp masala.

Their lunch buffet is best option in the entire city for healthy, delicious dishes to include meat and vegan options. The butter chicken, goat curry, mushroom masala are my favorite. Great Indian food, packaged well and containers labeled (no leaks), large portions that will last multiple meals, best vegan food there is, very flavorful. We did find one small piece of bone in a chicken piece luckily he didn’t swallow it. Fast delivery, fresh. Highly recommended. Saag Paneer, Malai Kofta, Roti, Papad, Gajar Halwa, Rus Malai, Rice Kheer, Chicken Makhani, Chicken Biryani, Mushroom Masala, Bread Basket, Paneer Kulcha, Pickles. Love the Mushroom Masala . One of the best, tastiest, and healthiest options in the county.
UPDATE: They spray Windex on all the tables and around customers eating. Windex is toxic and is a health hazard. Safety warning is written on the bottles, just read it. They keep using windex as a table cleaner. Even though I like this place, using Windex around food is a problem. They have been informed multiple times about this. When they stop using Windex I will update the review to 5 stars. If it wasn’t for using Windex around food and customers this would be one of my favorite places. We always have to cover our food and drinks with our hands while they spray. If they correct this I will remove this negative section of my review.

I’ve only had the lunch buffet and to me the food is absolutely delicious. I love the pakora and naan and occasionally when they have Aloo Gobi which is my favorite! Moving out here from Canton which has multiple Indian restaurants this is the only one near and honestly I don’t think I would go anywhere else anyways.

Spacious restaurant.. good food.. quite pricy .. the only Indian Restaurent you could find near Davison I guess ,, plus it does offer lunch buffet for $13.99 I guess .. it was good .. not great , but fine .. I wish the price was less .. but looking at its menu prices I guess it’s fine , rice wasn’t fresh or just kept for very long time , no biryani . Hope they keep Lamb meat instead of goat meat… visited -12/06/2021
