Slow service, bacon was burned, breakfast potatoes were bland, hash browns were greasy and burnt, toast was flimsy and my two year old wouldn’t eat it, never offered refills and had to ask twice because they never did it the first time. I could hear constant bickering and complaining from servers and two were arguing. Couldn’t eat half of the food because the eggs made me and my wife sick. I’ve had a few bad experiences but this is the last time. I don’t recommend this Perkins until they hire better staff and learn how to cool basic food such as bacon and toast. For $77 I could’ve went to Hardee’s and received better food for less than half the price.

Go here every Sunday morning with my Significant other and his Mother, Love being able to feel like we are at home. The Servers know us by name. And treat us very Well every time. I Just want to say Thank you to all for the kindness. Also the Quality of the Food. It doesn’t disappoint. Love Steak and Eggs, Country fried steak, The Big Country skillet. So many options that are Just Great!! Thank you for being the Breakfast spot for us.

Pam and I haven’t been to the Newton Perkins in ages, so we decided to treat ourselves to lunch today. We’re so glad we did!
I had the big country skillet, and Pam ordered the country fried steak. Both meals were absolutely incredible! The country fried steak was so tender, and the white gravy was silky smooth and delicious. That same white gravy was on my big country skillet, and it was heavenly. My skillet included eggs, and I opted for scrambled, which were covered in that mouthwatering white gravy and cheese. The tater tots were also very tender, and the bacon was epic.
Today was free pie day, so I took home the cherry pie, and Pam had the banana creme.
We got right in and seated, with our orders arriving at the table much quicker than we expected. Our server, Assina provided exceptional service!
Our visit today couldn’t have been any better. We can’t wait to go back hungry again!

I’m shocked at how bad this Perkins is. We quit going here several months ago because things got so bad. We foolishly thought if we ordered online 30 minutes prior to when we wanted food, they’d somehow be able to get it done. Wrong! I arrived at the time stated on my online order, to be told my order was next up, and would be about 10 minutes. 15 minutes later, I’m told there’s four orders ahead of mine. How can this be? There’s about six tables with people, and at least two had food. I inquired about this, and I was told they had a cook not come to work. At this point it was 20 minutes past the promised time our order was supposed to be ready. I decided to ask for a refund, which caused another issue, since I ordered and paid online. The refund was finally sorted out, after I waited 30 minutes past my promised order time. The person I dealt with was apologetic and gave us some pie, but this is bad for a restaurant which was t busy. I can see why it wasn’t busy. This place has been in a bit of a crisis for a while.
There was another table which left without food while I was there, and another couple who decided to leave, after I told them about my ordeal.
Hopefully they can get things figured out, but we won’t be back.

Hello gluten free and celiac friends . Today my husband and I all stopped here to have breakfast.( In memory of my late Grandma in Ohio ) She loved Perkins. I ordered 2 eggs, hash brown which is gluten free, and turkey sausage. Our server was Ari she’s was so great ( Thank you Ari) . I told her about my allergy and she said she will write a note on there. She also said they can do a side of fruits instead of the pancakes. Very cozy place and the coffee was great .

My family and I went for dinner and the service and food were both amazing. Carolyn constantly checked in on us and the food was cooked to perfection! Were not sure the cooks name, but he also came out to ask how we liked the food which was great! Eating out is a treat and Carolyn made us feel incredibly welcome. We will be back there soon!

We just had a dinner here. Server Jenny was nice, we told her we were in the rush, so she was pretty quick. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. They also sell fresh bakery.

Set with no drinks, potatoes raw. Sat at the front 10 minutes waiting for cashier. Service was awful. Will never return one of the worst experiences. Restaurant was empty there is no excuse. The California Benedict did taste good this was the only positive

Had a really bad experience at this Perkins a couple months ago when they were super slammed and there wasn’t enough staff that seemed like on hand. Decided to give them another chance this morning and stopped in for some breakfast our server was fantastic the food came decently quick and tasted really good and the prices are always pretty good for the food you get here.

I requested my bacon crispy. It came like like they may have just warmed it up. It was like a wet noodle.
And my plate was obviously dirty. There was dried up jelly or some type of purple substance on my plate.
There was a lot of yelling in the kitchen and not yelling out orders but yelling at each other. They need to know everyone can hear them bickering.
I realize they are short handed, but….
Everything is so expensive now days, but we just wanted to have a nice breakfast out.
It’ll be awhile before we go back.
Get your staff ramped up and trained in the kitchen.
On a positive note, our server Mariah was fantastic!
