Me and my friend had lunch there yesterday. Maria welcomed us with a very warm smile, introduced us to the menu and happy hour deals. Daniel was great at hosting us. He gave us suggestions when I was confused with the menu and was really friendly and patient. We tried the kangaroo steak and steak roll with red wine. It was absolutely delicious and fulfilling. The service was excellent and the ambience was wonderful. Would definitely love to visit again.

It was a busy Sat evening. Still service was attentive & very pleasant. We had fresh oysters, Mediterranean salad, they were excellent. We had lamb cutlet & grilled barramundi, both were cooked perfectly & full of flavors. Couldn’t ask for a more enjoyable dinner.

Lovely dinner experience! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. It did take a little while for our meals to arrive, but the team kindly compensated us, which we really appreciated. Great location too, with beautiful European vibes. We’d happily come back again.

We visited in November. The scallops were very good, actually all the food was good. I had porchetta and my friends had burger and an italian schnitzel. The only think I didn’t like was the paella (the fish flavor was too overpowering for me) but my friend that took it was happy about it so maybe I was having too big expectations.
The service was great, the waitress was very patient with us (especially that 2 of us came late and we waited for them before ordering).
The overall experience was good, I would come here to eat again. If (or better when) I will visit Australia again.

We had a wonderful dining experience here, and a big part of it was thanks to Maria. She is incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, she took great care of us and paid attention to every detail.

Amazing restaurant on the street with an outdoor seating. Most importantly they have “ Kangaroo Steak” which was special. They also have many cocktail and mocktail selection. Outside seat are nice while weather is great. The kangaroo steak was delicious. Very tender with delicious sauce .
The meat has charcoal smoke smell which was nice. Great restaurants. Service also nice. The lemon mocktail was delicious with mint flavor.

Had a great dining experience here. From the awesome greeting at the door and ongoing humour from maître de Maria to the tasty food and attentive service provided by Louis it made for a good night. The venue and atmosphere sitting in Hardware Lane is a quintessential Melbourne dining experience.

I ordered the Lamb Skewers as a starter and they were delicious—full of flavor and perfectly paired with the vegetables and couscous. For my main, I tried the kangaroo and it genuinely surprised me: tender, tasty, and beautifully served with rocket, chickpeas, and balsamic sauces.
I also had the Pavlova for dessert, which was soft and flavorful with fresh berries. With a couple of beers, the total came to around 60 dollars.

Quick lunch turned into a very enjoyable dining experience. Food was excellent service just as good even tipped the waitress. A+ experience . Steak was perfect , the lamb chops amazing and you can see our dessert pics too. Sawwwweet!!

My wife took me here for my birthday and it was great! Lovely service and very tasty food, we had the steak, scallops and pesto spaghetti and it was very nice. They even surprised me with a complimentary dessert and sang me happy birthday! We will definitely be back highly recommend!
