There are certain foods, that once you bite into, you can’t stop eating, like really good wings. Well, all I can say is hot dang the sandwich was phenomenal and I wanted moooooore.
The seasoning was mind blowing. The cheese, bacon and ranch were fantastic. What threw me off was the bread. I thought it would be crispy for some reason but it was not. It was fresh and soft, and because of that, I felt the bread was soaking up all the juices and seasoning from the ingredients. Now I see why this place has just under 2k reviews. Also, Danny which I’m assuming is the owner was super cool.
I highly recommend and will be visiting this place a lot. Also, I’m getting 2 sandwiches next time. Yummy.

So I haven been here in a while, I live close so decided hey a Philly on a Friday night sounds good.
I order an original and one of the others that had some other items added.
20 minutes after I order still nothing except everyone who ordered before me, about 3-4 who ordered after me and several uber drivers I ask about my order, which then the guy checks and says oh it’s a little complicated it should be soon… pretty sure they forgot to make my food…
Another 15 minutes goes by and several other people who came after were served I finally got my food…
And of course they forgot to add the cheese on the original “Philly cheesesteak”…. Like seriously, and it was to go so I didn’t even know till I got home…
Then, the meat on the original was crazy salty to go with it all…
So anyways, won’t be back, definitely a lot of better options in the area to say the least… (especially when paying $32 for 2 basic Philly and a small fry… smh)

I had an amazing experience at Malik’s Philly Cheese Steak, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Jeniece! From the moment I walked in, she was welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly. She made sure my order was perfect, answered all my questions with patience, and kept a great attitude the entire time.
You can tell she really cares about customer service — she went above and beyond to make sure everything was fresh, hot, and exactly how I wanted it. It’s rare to find someone who takes that much pride in their work.
Because of Jeniece, I’ll definitely be coming back. Malik’s is lucky to have her!

Malik’s always come through with delicious cheese steaks. They are made to order always fresh hot and seasoned perfectly. If you like cheese make sure you get extra since they put the cheese under the meat it doesn’t look cheesy. I went on a Sunday about 4pm and the Mexican lady who made my food was awesome she made my food with love. (FYI) I didn’t know Malik was Malik Rose who played with the spurs.

This is the best sandwich I have ever had. I have never been to Philly. I have tried a couple cheesesteaks in my life and they were good. But I’m pretty sure I’ve never had a real one until TONIGHT. This was so delicious I felt like my eyeballs were rolling in the back of my head. So juicy! So flavorful. And the water ice – just have one if you never have. It’s not a snow cone or Italian ice – it is its own thing and you have to try it!
Don’t hesitate. The food is so good, and the staff and the vibes are so special. This was a beautiful San Antonio experience!

Probably the best spot in San Antonio for a proper cheesesteak. Bread is good and it holds the meat and cheese well. Fries are excellent. Can’t ask for anything more. Out door seating is great and we were able to watch a game while dining. Lathe shared spot is cool and provides options for everyone. Lots of activities too. Will definitely be back next time I’m in San Antonio.

Amazing cheesesteak! One of the best, if not the best I’ve ever had! Had one out at his spot in 1604 Cantina food truck park. One of the nicest and well rounded people I’ve ever met. Then you get to the food! Freaking phenomenal! Would eat again and wish there was 8 days a week just to get it some more.

I was only in town for a day and wanted to try something we don’t have back home in Utah. Mando and Jeniece were super friendly and welcoming, and they gave me great recommendations on what to try. If you haven’t had a “Water Ice” yet, definitely get one — it’s worth it!
