The food was great. The second we sat down they took a minute to bring drinks. Food was served within 10 minutes. Everyone had a positive attitude. The food was fresh, aesthetically pleasing, big portions – we took home most of it. The atmosphere was calming and neatly decorated. Comfortable setting, pleasing workers, music not too loud – comfortable for having conversations.

The service was absolutely fantastic! The staff to greet us were all so nice! They were very attentive and helpful around our dietary restrictions. They made hibachi work for vegetarians which was a feat! So yummy! The hibachi chef was absolutely great and very characteristic. Joy, our server, was beyond this world. She was on top of absolutely everything, serving our table of 17 with absolute finesse. She was incredible 🙂

Fuji Japanese Steak House is a great place to go out to dinner on a weekend. They have amazing sushi and offer a variety of options and styles. They have a seating area at the bar, and their drinks are not only delicious, but they aren’t expensive at all. There’s plenty of seating options available. Either tables or booths with roughly ten or so stools by the bar. They offer a wide variety of Asian style dishes as well as great steak choices. The staff is attentive and polite. If you’re going here for the evening expect to pay around $50 for a single person with drinks. There is plenty of parking around the building itself and a sidewalk that is wheelchair accessible. This is located in the Galleria Mall in Middletown NY. I would highly recommend for a great night out.

However, the service can be hit or miss. I had a fantastic experience with one server who was super professional, but on another visit, the service was just okay. Despite that, I still recommend it for a nice dinner. Prices are a little on the higher side, but nothing too crazy. Every time I’ve gone, I walk in and sit without issues, usually at a table for two. There’s also a bar area open to the sushi bar, which adds a nice touch to the dining atmosphere.

Fugi Steak House is easily one of the best dining experiences around. If you’ve never been to a place where they cook the food right in front of you, you’re seriously missing out. The hibachi chefs here are incredible — not only do they cook everything perfectly, but they put on a full show while they do it. From the knife tricks to the flaming onion volcano to the way they flip shrimp with perfect accuracy, it’s entertaining from the moment you sit down.

It was extremely busy. Glad we had reservation for a group of 12. Food was cold by the time we recieved it. Although it was cold it was tasty. We all ordered from the combination hibachi. The hibachi cook was funny and he did a great job at cooking our meal. The down side is that he makes the rice first, then vegetables and then meats. So our rice got cold while we waited for the meat and then the vegetables Yet again all the food was tasty. Our Server was great she was attentive to our needs.

We’ve been to many Japanese Restaurants and this one definitely stepped up and did an amazing job! Food was done quick and efficient; the chef was funny And very entertaining especially for our boys. I love when they interact with the boys and make them feel part of the show. The kids love hibachi shows especially fire parts. The drinks were delicious and the area was very clean. Very spacious dining room. I’d highly recommend this place.

Had a good laugh when I walked into this steak house and found it was hibachi. It was really cool to have this type of restaurant in the mall. After being sat at a booth, we decided to go to a hibachi station instead. The booth section can be updated. The hibachi station was actually really fun but it seemed like some people who were there before us were waiting a while. My wait between being seated to when the chef started was reasonable though. The waitress who served my station seemed to have forgotten some orders from the other folks. Although the fried rice was lackluster, my chef was pretty good. He was able to read the table and serve us food pretty quickly. The food was cooked well.

If you like sushi/sashimi this is the place to be. There’s a section for hibachi dining. You can sit at the bar, eat at a booth or table. I saw lots of take out bags on the counter. This is my second visit in a month. I’ll definitely be coming back. ** they also have fried ice cream….yum**
