I recently visited Khushi Indian Restaurant 1 in Tbilisi to try their Veg Hot & Sour Soup and Chicken Biryani.

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing compared to my previous experiences at their other branch in Tbilisi.

Veg Hot & Sour Soup:
The soup was very watery and did not taste like hot & sour at all. It lacked flavor and felt more like plain water with very little seasoning. I’ve tried soups at other restaurants in Tbilisi that were much better.

Chicken Biryani:
The biryani was average — not bad, but nothing special. It lacked the rich aroma and flavor you expect from a good biryani.

Ambience:
The restaurant has a huge sitting space, which is good for large groups.

⏳ Service:
Service was quite slow during my visit.

What surprised me is that I’ve visited their other branch in Tbilisi twice before, and the food there was much better. So maybe the quality differs by branch.

Overall, this particular outlet did not meet my expectations.

The hotel is easy to locate as it is situated right on the main road, though parking is unfortunately not available. The ambience is pleasant and welcoming.
The waitresses were warm, courteous, and spoke Hindi, which made communication comfortable. They guided us to our table and patiently suggested dishes to help us choose.
The menu offers a good variety of North Indian cuisine, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and the pricing is reasonable and budget-friendly.
Service was prompt, with food arriving within about 25 minutes. Initially, the food did not fully meet our expectations; however, when we shared our feedback, the bearer took it seriously and ensured the dishes were freshly prepared to suit our taste. This willingness to respect and act on customer feedback is truly commendable.
The naans were soft and fluffy, and the chilli chicken curry was quite good. The mutton biryani was average in taste, though it had generous portions and the meat was well cooked.
Overall, it was a good dining experience, and I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

A great Indian restaurant that serves excellent, faultless food. A wide variety of local and international drinks (I love that they had local beer on the menu).

It can however become a little noisy (not a deal-breaker) and the service could be improved as we’d had to call waiters several times before they actually attended to our table on multiple occasions.

As I mentioned; a wide variety of food and drinks and a quality meal.

I recently visited your restaurant, and I want to express how truly wonderful the entire experience was. The food was absolutely exceptional—every dish was fresh, full of flavour, and prepared with great attention to detail. It’s clear that your chefs take immense pride in their craft.

Your staff also deserves special appreciation. They were extremely courteous, attentive, and professional throughout the visit. Their warm and welcoming behaviour made the dining experience even more memorable. Good service like this is rare and truly adds value to the meal.

Thank you for maintaining such high standards. I will definitely be recommending your restaurant to my friends and family, and I look forward to visiting again soon!

This hotel became my daily go-to place for dinner in Georgia. The staff are extremely kind and welcoming, and the food is simply superb.
Everything here is pure desi, just like home. I stayed in Georgia for 6 days, and after a point I was honestly tired of seeing beef or pork on almost every menu everywhere. Finding good food became difficult.
Khusi Restaurant was a true relief. It is completely free from beef and pork, and the taste is authentic Indian style. Every meal felt comforting and satisfying. Luckily it was near to my place where I was staying.
If you are an Indian traveler in Georgia Tbilisi and looking for safe, delicious, and familiar indian north style food, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Food is served without much delay, we ordered chicken biriyani and Aloo Prantha (Good), but chicken biriyani was very poor in taste and flavours, even the rice isn’t the one that was expected. Not crowded, it will be better if they look to the quality of food served.

Tasty Indian food with solid portion sizes. The medium spice level was just right — pleasantly spicy without being overwhelming. The only downside was the lassi, which tasted more like salted yogurt and wasn’t quite what I expected, it was a bit difficult to drink.
Also, the table was cleared without asking if I was finished, which felt a bit rushed — though luckily, I was full anyway.
The place is clean, which is always appreciated. Overall, the staff was friendly and the food makes it worth visiting.

Great Food. Authentic taste. Good service. Everything i tried there (at their Merab Kostava Street location);is great specially their gajar halwa is the best i have tasted anywhere in the world. It’s out of the world! Best Best Gajar Halwa Ever! Prices are reasonable, not like other overpriced indian restaurants. Also their hot and sour chicken soup is simply amazing. Also Missi roti is so so good. Highly Highly recommended! Must try food here when u r in Tbilisi. One of the best food here for sure!
