While most people would review a place on food first the atmosphere of this place was amazing. Super friendly and proactive staff and an upbeat playlist which multiple staff were singing along too. The positivity of theirs place would almost be impossible to not be considered infectious. As someone who has recently returned to the states I was recommended waffle house by a friend and it does not disappoint.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting welcome. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese bowl with grits instead of hash browns, and it was absolutely delicious! The service was fantastic—fast, friendly, and incredibly attentive. We never even had to ask for refills; our drinks were topped off before we could even glance at them. Thank you for making our visit so memorable. Wishing this Waffle House continued success and many blessings!

I haven’t eaten at a Waffle House in years, but was just 2 hours in to a 3-day road trip and felt a craving for Waffle House. It’s not gourmet, but the food was hot, exactly to order, and quick – my breakfast hit the spot and my craving was fulfilled. Quick, pleasant service with fun servers rounded out the visit. Exactly what I was looking for.

I normally don’t leave reviews but I was very upset. Walked in no greeting and all the tables and the bar top and food menus was dirty the waitress didn’t start cleaning tables till a party of 8 walked in while I was taking pictures but still looked over me as if I wasn’t there. The cook was complaining about the customers saying they need to go home or to Perkins because he’s not in the mood. Still didn’t get greeted or asked if I needed help. They only cleaned enough tables for the party of 8 (only 2 booths) and left everything else dirty. While in the middle of cooking the cook walks away. The cook was very rude to one of the employees as well. Finally got my order took after being there for at least 25 to 20 minutes. And finally got my maybe 15 minutes later. Got a free orange juice

We love this Waffle House! The food is always delicious at an unbeatable price. The waffles are definitely worth writing home about! The grits are always hot and lumpy just the way I love them. Best with butter and sugar! And I love chatting with the servers – they’re always smiling and very personable.

Server was very sweet. Unfortunately the biscuit gravy was so salty it was inedible. My friend found a hair under her home fries. Bad experience . Hopefully it was just a bad day for them. Oh and parking lot I’d designed for matchbox cars.

This Newberry road location is much better than the archer location. The employees are way nicer and more attentive. We will be driving the extra stretch of road from now on to come to this location rather than the other.
