The short hispanic male manager on duty is rude, has always been rude. He needs to quit because obviously he hates his job. Why show up to be rude. You chose to work there in service…. so service… He needs to be let go. Its been going on too long and he’s all in the review comments. Keep your personal problems at home, no one cares. Do we bring our problems and attitude to your drive-thru. Do BETTER
When my friend went to ask for ranch we only received two more cups of ranch when we had multiple items that we ordered separately. When they proceeded to ask for more politely the worker refused to give them ranch and what looked to be the manager came to take over the situation in a rude tone and manner. She said that we only ordered chicken nuggets and “didn’t need more ranch” when we both separately got French fries and separate items to take home.
What I don’t understand is how they ignored the sides of ranch that we ordered as a kiosk and determined how much ranch two separate people would need on two separate orders. The girl who appeared to the manager was very rude and argumentative I as a store manager would never treat a customer this way over a side. This is a completely unacceptable manner to treat a customer and we will not return to this location.
We had a deeply distressing experience at the McDonald’s located at 14362 Gideon Dr, Woodbridge, VA 22193. The manager on duty, Mirna Gonsales, handled a simple customer interaction in an extremely inappropriate and alarming manner.
The situation began when we politely requested a water cup for my son, who is on the autism spectrum. Rather than responding calmly or professionally, Ms. Gonsales suddenly raised her voice at us in an aggressive and confrontational tone. Her facial expression and body language were intense and intimidating, and the overall energy of the interaction was hostile and upsetting.
This caused my son to become severely distressed. He experienced an acute emotional reaction that led to him vomiting in the restaurant. It was a heartbreaking and overwhelming moment for our family.
When we attempted to ask for her name and an explanation for her behavior, Ms. Gonsales refused to respond. She offered no apology, no assistance, and no acknowledgment of the incident or the impact it had on us.
We are requesting a formal apology from Ms. Gonsales and respectfully urge McDonald’s corporate to review this incident. We believe this level of conduct—especially from a manager—should be addressed appropriately. Every customer deserves to be treated with basic respect and understanding, particularly families with children who have special needs.
We hope McDonald’s will take this matter seriously and ensure that future interactions reflect the company’s values of inclusion, dignity, and professionalism.
