I went there for a Sunday valentines date. Even though the restaurant was pretty full when I arrived, the bar service was great. The bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food itself was good but nothing special. It didn’t feel worth the $40 it cost.

Very nice looking place and great food. However, we came at 530 on a Saturday night as the rush began to come in. It was just my wife and I, and there were two very large parties seated nearly elbow to elbow with us and we could hardly hear each other talking as someone was basically screaming in our ear behind us. Our waitress was kind but we hardly saw her once the big tables came in and found ourselves wanting to leave sooner than later. Other tables received bread service but we had to ask and frequently waited quite a while for things, or unable to request for things as our food was dropped off by staff that was not our waitress. The food was excellent I have no complaints there, we just felt a bit overlooked once the 2 larger parties came. I don’t think this was the servers fault as she had to help 20 other guests behind us. Planning could be better on management’s behalf. Would recommend sitting at the bar or closer to the bathrooms if possible to avoid being seated behind large parties. Would maybe come back because of the great food, but service/planning could be improved at Knight’s.

The bar staff was great and they were very friendly. Ordered the sirloin and it was perfect! Ordered it per the menu recommendations and added the melted blue cheese on top.

Our server Miles was great as our party trickled in at different times. Wonderful pre game birthday celebration for my husband. Thank you.

Our first introduction to Knights Steakhouse was on a random weeknight and we just had drinks at the bar. We were welcomed by the bartender and enjoyed the sports bar/steakhouse vibe, drinks were great. Upon our second visit for a weeknight dinner, we felt just as welcome even without a reservation. Once seated, we were greeted by our waiter who got our drink orders in and got us set up with menus. Some rolls were set out with our salad and they were very tasty, could have used a tad more butter. We normally like a mix of steak and seafood so we ordered the halibut with honey glaze, rice pilaf, and asparagus as well as the 6oz filet medium with veggies, risotto and an additional side of mashed potato. I loved the honey glaze on the halibut and the rice pilaf was a great starch to go with it. The steak was cooked to temp and had a fabulous crust, which I always appreciate. Asparagus was alright but fat, so don’t be surprised if you get 3 or 4 big pieces. Didn’t love the veggies that came with my steak as much, they were fresh but pretty plain. Mashed potatoes were great with the steak, a straight up scoop of potato, nothing else needed. I wouldn’t come here expecting eccentric flavors, food trends, or white tablecloth attitudes. It’s a straight up American sport steak joint for dates, dudes, dads, and families visiting their college kids. We were very pleased with the food and impressed with our waiter who was attentive but not attached and agreeable but not pushy – we felt like we were in good hands. Our orders were correct and the food came out hot. I do think they could improve on presentation or zest up their vegetable game. The bartender makes a mean last word, so they made an instant fan of me from the start.

Such a cute place to eat in Ann Arbor! It seems great for families or a fancy meal. We got the Caesar salad, Canadian bacon soup, NY strip, and the southern burger. They were all really good, especially the soup and the steak! I will say I wasn’t as big a fan of the veggies that came with the steak, it felt a little plain and the home made chips were a bit too hard for my taste but overall we have such a great experience! The meat was cooked to perfection and the service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was great as well!

I really wanted to like this place, but the food felt uninspired, lacked true flavor, and the atmosphere felt fatigued. The goat cheese burger was just OK, but it lacked bacon jam so the goat cheese was too dominate. The small fried onions were tasteless and overall it was a mushy, medium. My husband’s burger came with a hard-as-a rock sweet potato that was overcooked, probably put down right when the burger was, which is a no-no. The ahi tuna nachos were overworked with sauce and chips, leaving the tuna buried – I dug it out so that I can get my money’s worth. The ribs were the best meal, but at this level of steakhouse we should make our own sauce right? Don’t get me wrong, Sweet Baby Ray’s is a great retail sauce, but let’s do better at Knight’s! I cannot believe they actually serve Kraft macaroni and cheese on the kids menu, which isn’t that good, certainly isn’t good enough for a steakhouse of this caliber. With that, came the chicken tenders, but they looked like GFS. The Bloody Mary was tasty enough and the Irish Stout on tap was solid. So the bartender did a good job. The server was friendly, but lacked attention to detail. Hey, the group bathroom was clean, which is nice. Overall, we just didn’t get the value we were looking for based on the hype. Perhaps the original location was better.

Came highly recommended from a friend, I took my family of 5 in and I was absolutely blown away with the service. They made our evening so enjoyable and we felt very VIP with the service standards they set for their staff. The steak was incredible as was the lobster and salmon, everything was excellent. We got plenty of bang for our buck, this is one of my new favorite locations in the Ann arbor area. Mark Andy Josh we will be returning SOON!

First time visit and it was very good! Went Saturday afternoon. It was not busy. Three of us had a burger and fries, and one of us a reuben sandwich. I think the quality of the food is above par. We were all impressed. Great bloody mary too!

Nice place, good atmosphere. I wouldn’t say they have the best of the best steaks but they are still good.
