The only suggestion I’d offer is possibly adjusting prices if feasible. While I understand current costs make pricing difficult, dining out has become harder for families like ours. This was a special occasion—my wife’s birthday—and likely the only time we’ll be able to eat out this year. Even so, we truly enjoyed the experience and are thankful for the quality and service.
When the tacos finally came out, they were cold. Not lukewarm—straight up cold, like they had been sitting for a while. Tacos are supposed to be fresh and hot, especially at a place that markets itself as high quality and bold.
On top of that, the tacos just didn’t taste good. The flavors were bland, the tortillas were soggy, and everything felt thrown together. For the price and the hype, this was a huge letdown. Definitely not worth the wait, and I won’t be coming back.
Menu is what you find at other Torchy’s branches, mostly tacos with a handful of other Mexican food items. Portion sizes are pretty good, 2 soft tacos is enough for most, order a third if you have a big appetite or are particularly hungry. They have chicken, beef, seafood and veg taco options, mix and match based on your interest.
On the occasion, I really enjoyed the baja shrimp taco which had nice spritely flavours. The fried avocado taco was pretty good as well. Chicken fajita taco was very tasty, beef fajita was just ok, the steak was quite hard and chewy. Would just go with chicken next time. Margaritas served on the day were strong and tasty as well. This was a fun dinner, one I’d happily repeat when in the mood for some good tacos.
They have messed up my order once, and they refunded me within an hour of calling! The staff was super helpful and apologetic. I went back later that day and they gave me a free large chips and queso. To make things even better, they went back into my past orders and made the queso so that I could eat it with all of my allergies!! I had briefly mentioned it over the phone and the employee took note of it! Highly recommend eating here, especially with allergies!
Management is kind and always checks in on how things are going.
Never had any issues with an order here.
