Roll in with low expectations, you’ll be pleased.
Lord almighty, put the damn vermouth in the fridge. It’s a fortified wine, it oxidizes & spoils.
Cream of mushroom soup, slightly thin however seasoned well. Salt levels were pretty close to perfect.
Mac Salad was loaded with fresh veggies, and the pasta cooked to a perfect texture, unfortunately with zero salt. Clearly dressed while still too hot causing the Mayo base dressing to break and resulting in a greasy unseasoned salad.
Brisket tacos, complete rubbish. Dry & rubbery brisket, lacked any seasoning or beef flavor. Inedible. Atomic hot & stone cold, I’d wager on microwave reheated. And for what it’s worth, dressed extremely lazy. Basic techniques and pride in service vacant.

The service, food, and atmosphere was delightful It looks like it was either a new build or remodeled recently. Food was fresh we ordered a salad and added chicken, buffalo chicken wings dip appetizer and they had a taco special for Wednesday that you could mix or match- I chose chicken. our server was friendly and attentive and it was an overall good experience.

I love coming here before going to see a show at proctor’s, their Sunday brunch has some really delicious options and their regular lunch menu is also excellent! I seem to have gotten stuck in the trap of always ordering the same thing, but I love the brussel sprout salad and I can’t help but order it! We always get great service, I look forward to coming back over and over! Someday I’d love to try their evening fare, but their lunch can’t be beat!

Beautiful place, the staff is friendly and do their jobs well. It was my first time there and I was not disappointed! I ordered the Maxon burger, its 50% ground beef and 50% ground bacon, yes ground bacon, it had a peppered egg and Chipotle sauce. I thought I died and went to Burger Heaven, and the onion rings were perfect, not cheapo breading you at some places. I know I have to go back several more times as there were so many delicious sounding meals I have to try. Beer was cold, and the Mrs had a watermelon margarita, which I sampled. It was light and a nice fruity flavor, so good you want more than one. I’ve driven by this place one my way to and from work and decided it was time to give it a try. It was well worth it! The Buffalo dip was tasty as well. I would have liked a bit more heat to it, but it was good. In there, stop by and give them a try. You won’t be sorry.

Stopped back when they were a little busier, and they were on top of their game! Food came out quickly, and the waitress checked on us regularly. Short Rib Sammy omg another must try! This is a really great place to eat at or have a drink at the bar while watching the few tvs that are on.

Love going to Maxon’s, my fiancé and I haven’t been in a while, and it did not disappoint as usual! The food is amazing and always delicious. I had the sweet Thai chili egg rolls, and they were so amazing, and the portion is a lot. It was an appetizer and I couldn’t finish them. The garbage wing sauce is also my favorite and they have the best mac and cheese! The bang bang coconut shrimp are the the best I’ve had around so far!

The food was exceptional. The menu features unusual selections among everybody’s favorites. I had the burger with Mac and cheese on it. It was delicious, and their homemade chips are to die for. The service was excellent. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is a little dark. They have a Sunday brunch now, and I tried the flight of mimosas, which I really enjoyed. There is plenty of free parking and it is handicapped accessible.

We went there today Rozey was great, very efficient friendly knowledgeable a pleasure, we sat outside it’s very nice, chairs could be a little more comfortable nice deck well made roomy and umbrellas which were needed. Had the wings Garlic Parm, outstanding,meaty juicy done just right excellent taste. Had the maxon very good cooked perfect, could have used more onion rings as I have seen photos from other diners however they also were very good. My wife had the special hamburger type wrap, it was ok accordingly to her could have used more flavor, which I agreed, a lot of fries but just soso.My mom had the in and out which she thought was great the grandma chips were ok. We got the carrot cake, I’ve eaten a lot of carrot cake that was outstanding the best I’ve ever had and we all agreed, didn’t take a picture which I regret because it rocked and looked as good as it tasted.I didn’t see a ramp to the deck which my mom needs but they do have a ramp entrance which was nice. All in all we spent 80 + tip no drinks. We all agreed this was a great meal we would definitely go back to try many of the other good looking dishes on the menu.Thank you

Maxon’s restaurant is a welcoming oasis of rustic charm. Our waitress seated us at the window booth and was friendly and attentive. I ordered chicken wings of course and the hot sauce tasted fantastic as did the homemade blue cheese. The Mrs. ordered an inside out cheeseburger (grilled cheese on the outside of the bread!) She loved it obviously. Beer selection is good with many craft options. Will go again when in the area!

Went to grab wings and the sweet chili chicken sandwich to go . My son loved the sandwich. I ordered garlic parm wings and my husband got medium wings.
No flavor at all or sauce . Asked for crispy and nope not at all crispy. I normally like their food but the wings this evening were really bad. With the cost of wings, they need to be really good and these were not .

Service was good and food was great in person but not the same when we ordered takeout. I went in person and for an appetizer we ordered the short rib poutine which was absolutely delicious. We wish the dish had a bit more gravy but it tasted great and the portion was enough for two people. I ordered a Maxon burger( (burger cooked medium) with Mac and cheese and my boyfriend ordered the Oh Donna (burger cooked medium) with onion rings. Both were amazing and the sides were good. Everything was great in person. However we did order takeout during the week and it wasn’t as good. We ordered fried pickles, the maxon burger cooked medium with Mac and cheese and the pork ribeye with tots and the tomato bisque. The friend pickles weren’t super crispy but we expected that since we got it to go, the maxon burger was not cooked medium at all and tasted different than it did the first time we got it. The pork ribeye eye with tots and the tomato bisque were all delicious. The pork ribeye did not look visually appealing but it tasted great, very flavorful and juicy. Overall the place is 4.5 stars in person and a 3 for takeout. I would definitely go in person again.
