I can’t believe I’ve never dined here before. The Oaxacan chicken was tender and beautifully spiced. We also ordered the chicken tacos and their signature burrito. There was nothing left over at the end of our meal! Our server was extremely friendly and made a sincere effort to connect with us. Nice ambience and a perfect place to talk over good food. We’ll be back soon.

We love this place. The food is terrific, the service is friendly, and the drinks are on another level. Usually I get the Watermelon Margarita but recently had the Tamarind Margarita and it was SO good. They have a display up now for Dia de Los Muertos and it’s super cool. They invite you to add messages to passed loved ones. So sweet.

Really incredible homemade very authentic Mexican food the enchiladas were to die for get the ones in green sauce plenty of chicken sauce and cheese and all incredibly tasty the hibiscus drink was flawless all natural made the old fashioned way another standout was that my partner had the fish veracruz and that was really really tasty as well. We will be coming back to order different items on the menu I want to taste it all.

Happy hour from 4-5pm w/ 6 rotating beers on tap. Chips were quite good, but the salsas were average so if that’s your thing (it’s my thing, personally) look elsewhere because these very much cater to a “Silicon Valley” palate. Staff was very nice & helpful, we sat outside but the interior seemed like it had great atmosphere.

Amazing Food, average drinks, great seating, difficult parking, but overall positive experience. Come here if you want good food and aren’t too concerned with having top quality cocktails. The food alone makes this place worth it!
The food:
I’ll start with the good – the food here is excellent. They have a wide variety of offerings. I recommend the chicken mole enchiladas or the burritos. The mole is some of the best I’ve tried in the Bay Area. I also love how the grilled steak tasted (it had a lovely charred flavor). The Mexican rice had an amazing spice to it and the refríed beans were great! Can’t say enough good things about the food.
The drinks:
The drinks were okay but we felt there was too much sugar and not enough alcohol. The two margaritas we tried just felt a little artificial. I think if they added a bit more tequila and cut down on the sugar a bit – it would be much better! I ended up just ordering a shot of tequila instead!
The location:
The location is great but parking can be difficult during busy times. There’s only a few spaces out front. However, it’s in an easy location next to el Camino real! Safe neighborhood, quiet, and peaceful!
The Service:
The staff here is great! They were very attentive and friendly. They made a small mistake on my receipt but explained it – so no worries there! Super friendly staff!
Overall, 7/10 experience if you’re looking for drinks and food – but 9/10 if you’re only concerned with food! The one point off is for the parking.

There is both indoor and outdoor seating, it is far enough away from busy street that the street noise is minimal. The drinks are good, didn’t get refills on lemonade but the margaritas were a hit. The chicken enchiladas and carne asada were great as was the fried ice cream.
