We’ve had issues with our orders here lately. Our most recent order consisted of 8 pieces of chicken and 2 large sides of rice. However, 4 of the chicken pieces were undersized, and instead of receiving 2 large sides of rice, we got 1 large rice and 1 large Coleslaw. This is not the first time. On our previous visit, we ordered 4 pieces of chicken with 2 small sides of rice but received 4 pieces of chicken, with 2 being under-sized, 1 small rice, and 1 small mac and cheese. We didn’t catch these errors until we arrived home.

Been coming here weekly for several years for my lunch but I just have to say that I have noticed recently the portions are much smaller than they used to be! Had tacos al carbon a couple of days ago and the quantity of chicken was much smaller that usual. Today brought home the taco salad and AGAIN the portion is much smaller than usual. I usually get the same items on a regular basis. Tostada salad today asked for no rice and sour cream but extra lettuce as usual. Very sad to get home and see such a reduction in the size. Maybe give it another try but seems like I may have to find another place with better value.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant. The food was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I would have given it five stars if an item had been missing. However, the restaurant contacted me afterwards to offer to give me a double of the missing item at no cost. So far so good!!

This is my go to place. The food is consistently excellent at a reasonable price. The staff is extremely friendly. The place is clean. The guy who cooks the chicken is amazing. I order two chicken breasts and the meat is always juicy and the skin is crispy and flavorful. The queso sauce and salsas are delicious. Most other restaurants in this area are over priced and their food is disappointing, but this El Pollo has consistently been a pleasant experience

I decided to stop eating here. The service at the drive-thru is awful. The customer service is terrible. I ordered a pollo bowl combo and requested extra salsa, but I didn’t receive any extra salsa, and they also forgot to include utensils in the bag. So, I had to return to ask for both utensils and salsa. The person at the drive-thru was not friendly and made it difficult for me when I asked for extra salsa. He handed me utensils and just ONE extra salsa. This place is absurd and stingy with salsa, along with having terrible customer service. I won’t be returning.

I hadn’t been to El Pollo loco since covid. A lot has changed. There’s no longer a salsa bar available you have to ask for individual servings. The tables were filthy, hadn’t been wiped. The staff was rude, and it took ten mins for them to clean up a water spill near our table. The food was mediocre. Chicken was the only thing with flavor. Coleslaws was bland. Macaroni and cheese? Looked like cheese soup. Ten bucks for two pieces of chicken leg/thigh and two small sides. No drink. That’s extra. Not worth it!
