My cousins and I were craving Peruvian food and wanted to find a spot halfway between us, so we decided to try Tondero and just hope for the best. We were pleasantly surprised! I had the Aji de gallina, which was creamy and flavorful. My husband devoured his Seco de res and said the meat was perfectly tender and juicy. My cousins ordered the Pollo a la brasa and absolutely loved it. To top it all off, we had maracuyá cheesecake and lúcuma ice cream, both delicious and not too sweet, just the right amount of sugar. The food was excellent, but the service was even better. Our server, Guadalupe, was amazing: friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and always smiling. We’ll definitely be back!

We wanted something different and took a chance Tondero Peruvian Cuisine, Whittier. The restaurant was very clean, the food was very flavorful. We had the Calamari Frito, Tallarin Saltado de Carne, Tallarin Verde con Pollo and were not disappointed. Everything was delicious, and the service was great. Definitely coming back and highly recommend you try it!

This is some of the best Peruvian food in Southern California. No joke. They know what they’re doing. Staff is extremely friendly and will work for your business. The food itself, TOP TIER! They just expanded the dining area so it’s more open and customer friendly. Come here if you want some authentic Peruvian cuisine.

Quaint little family restaurant featuring Peruvian cuisine. The beers were totally new to me! And delicious, I tried their ceviche. And it was superb! Fresh fish and the seasoning was unbelievable! This is a small, little place, don’t expect Taps opulence,, DO expect delicious food! You won’t be disappionted!
