Whenever we are in the Tubac area, we head to the Wisdom’s Cafe. It is usually closed on Sunday and Mondays. There is free off street parking near the restaurant. It is a popular place and can be quite crowded at times, but we have always been seated quickly. There is covered out door seating as well. This long time family restaurant has a fun atmosphere and a super friendly staff. The menu is prumarily Mexican dishes with some other standard items as well. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Be sure to save room for the dessert Fruit Burros (unbelievable!) Always worth a detour!

We each had a chimichanga (1 shredded beef and 1 ground beef with green sauce). – fantastic and filling. We also tried the cherry fruit burro – highly recommend! It was an added treat to eat outside in January.

Best Mexican food south of Tucson with amazing history and ambiance. There is a reason it survived since 1944.

Our server was Griffin. Wow this guy could teach a lot of servers what GREAT service is all about. Now the food. I had the Sonora Chicken this was a great dish very flavorful and delicious. I would definitely recommend. My wife had the chili relleno and she was very pleased. Overall I would recommend this place and would stop here again. This is a family owned business that they put their heart and soul into. Thanks Again.

We moved from Texas to this area while at the dog park in Tubac we kept getting great recommendations about Wisdom’s Cafe. We went there for lunch and it was a great place to have good good food! The owner Celeste was awesome very gracious and accommodating. Our waitress Veronica was just as awesome, polite, and so nice. We enjoyed the food and lots of variety to choose from. The inside was decorated so nice and just adds to the great dining experience. Stop by and you won’t regret the stop one bit!!

Wisdoms always has cars in the parking lot for a reason. The food is delicious. The wait was not bad. Seated quickly. Had the homemade tortilla chips, sorocan chicken, and fruit burrito. Yum. Highly recommend. Wonderful place.

The food here is so delicious! You have to order a fruit burrito. Very tasty and unique. I tried the Chili Relleno and it was very good. Sadly, I didn’t get any photos because I couldn’t wait to dig in! Service was also really good. You won’t be disappointed.
