The broth needs salt, but it does taste fresh and not as oily as some soups, which I love. Can do with some flavor or citrus. They give a side of lime. Decent portion size. The rice sits at the bottom and is soft but still has some firmness. Avacados taste great and are such a profound addition. Chicken is a bit chewy, but does taste like it was cooked the same day and goes great with the veggies (onions, tomatoes, avacado, cilantro, etc).
Definitely a refreshing taste, though, I wish there was a tad more chicken and rice as this seems to have too much broth for the ratio of everything else.
The chips and salsa were fantastic as well, though, the salsa does have a subtle taste of the infamous canned tomatoes flavor, huge portion of both.
Overall, very filling, very refreshing, and the only thing I feel besides full and satisfied is a bit bloated. I do not feel sluggish or tired, which is always a good sign, though the restaurant atmosphere was very dark and bland. Very little light.

The food was excellent. The service on the other hand was not. We had to ask another server for our box and check after waiting for over 15 minutes for them. The restaurant was clean and I will return despite the service.

First time here and the food was great. We came for Father’s Day, my husband got the trio tacos (probably not the correct name) and he loved his meal. He ate everything on his plate including the rice and beans. I got the steak, shrimp and chicken (with veggies) over rice and cheese sauce. It was really good. We also had a shrimp and steak queso dip that was very flavorful. The place was packed so that’s a good indicator that the food is good! We will be back!

After running some errands in WF, we were riding through the shopping center and the man child was hungry. His first choice closed early for Thanksgiving so we tried something new, Don Julio.
The food was great. Son had the quesadillas and I had the Señor Poblano, which was amazing. That, after two bowls of salsa, a bowl and a half of chips and the Chori-queso, he said it was really good and he was full. That’s the best compliment a boy mom can hear!!

Don’t Julio’s has some of the best food. The steak could rival some of these so called fine dining. The ribeye is so tender and delicious.

We chose this resteraunt based on the reviews. In our opinion, the food was bland but good. The top shelf margarita was excellent – highly recommended. The fried ice cream was readlly good, but was not really fried. I would still eat it again. Communication was a little tough with the waiter. Overall, it could have been better or much worse. The prices were great. We would recommend it.

Dn Julio Restaurant is the place to go if you’re craving some amazing Mexican food! The service is top-notch, and the food is simply delicious. The manager, Leo, went above and beyond to provide us with exceptional customer service, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

I’ve been to better Mexican restaurants. The food and service was mediocre. We were tucked off in the it so couldn’t really get the feel of the restaurant as a first time guest. We asked for a cheeseburger kids meal along with our food and never received it because the waiter said he forgot to put it in…. Asked for a ACP to go which came out fast, but had no cheese sauce. The table/menus smelled like sour rag.
