I asked the cashier what his favorite burger was and went with it, it was a double bacon cheeseburger or something, all it had was 2 overcooked tiny patties that I put side by side so it’d fit the bun, some liquid cheese and bacon. Not only did the burger suck but they need to fire whoever put on the music that day. Every single song that played while we were there said “Jesus” 20 times. I love good christian music but I heard the word “Jesus” no less than 50 times in the 20 minutes I was there. I will never come back to this spot. Not everyone is christian and even if we are the last thing I want when I’m trying to eat is to be brainwashed by the blood of Jesus.

Would give it negative starts if i could . The worker named Nayada is extremely rude, made me uncomfortable in her tone. I ordered a burger and two sides of cheese bites. One of the sides was supposed to be for my grandma whom I’m caring for right now. She only gave me one, i decided to not go back and complain because i didn’t want to go through the trouble of taking to his worker again. Bad service.

This Cook Out can be hard to get into at certain times of the day, but it’s always worth the effort. Management must be pretty good because the employees are always pleasant and accommodating. The food is always hot (except the shakes) and it’s the closest thing to inexpensive left in the fast food industry. The piped in music is uplifting with a positive message. Thank you for a job well done, as always!

Im giving y’all five stars…customer service was serving quality customer service mkay….i got the chicken quesadilla tray, i actually had chicken in every bite!!! Im not being funny, but the cookout where i live in Cornelius NC (and there is only one) will put a single shred of chicken on the whole thing, if any at all….plus my price here was $8.71….in Cornelius it would have been over $11, no clue why…prices on the menu are the same and all that jazz….they do up charge every customer and don’t say anything….they don’t give out a receipt either and I think it’s so no one will notice the up charge and say something….They’re also incredibly rude….its a super nice area but the way the associates act there you’d think you was in the hood!! Either wayyy….everything is better at this cookout! Thanks so much for a much better experience that I am used to!!

Everything was delicious. Those cheddar bites are to die for. My hotdog was saturated in slaw juice but I still ate it, eat it with a fork, every single bite. Maybe use a slotted spoon? Hold off on the juice.
(2021) Had a good milkshake but the service was so slow which I’m sure couldn’t be helped since the dining room is closed.

This place is absolutely absurd. Skip it and go to sonic or wendys instead.
I ordered a 2 hotdog tray with cheese bites and onion rings, an oreo peanut butter milkshake, and an ice water.
The line didnt move for about 5 minutes when i got there. There were only 3 people in front of me. When I got to the window they handed me one hotdog and I heard them inside saying someone made my milkshake wrong and they had to remake it, they never said anything to me about it just closed the window and I waited. They opened the window and handed me my milkshake and said “have a good night” and started to close the window. I was confused, and I said “oh wait, I had a plate.” They looked confused and checked the other orders in line and handed me a loose plate without a bag and said “check and make sure that’s it.” It was, but there were 3 tiny onion rings, and about 7 cheese bites in it. Again I was confused. They said “that’s it right?”
Now I know portions have gotten smaller and I was fine with the amount of cheese bites, but 3 tiny onion rings? So I said, “yeah I just thought it would have more of the sides. “They said “that’s all it comes with.” The manager without even looking at my plate said “no tell her that’s all that’s in there.” And eventually after I didn’t move she came and looked at it. I told her what I told the person at the window. She said “well it only comes with 4 onion rings anyways” which doesn’t matter. I still only got 3 and they were tiny at that. It was like getting 1 and a half. Anyways I told her “3 little tiny onion rings???” And she rolled her eyes and shut the window and walked away. I waited and the person at the window opened it and said “where did she go? What did she tell you?” I said “I don’t know” and she came back about a minute later and handed me a bag and shut the window. It was 2 onion rings that were barely cooked. I pulled away and parked to eat and opened my hotdog to find a chunk of the hard end piece of onion that should have been thrown away. And then I realized I never even got my ice water. There are also whole oreos in the bottom of my milkshake. What is going on here???? I paid $12 for my order??????
I grew up in this area going to this cookout with my dad and having a good time, and I will never go here again.

Burgers were like you made it on your backyard grill. Cajun fries were very good as well. Definitely wasn’t prepared for the jumbo size “small” drink, but I finished it, lol. Not a fan of the chicken nuggets. BBQ sauce was awesome, though….used some on the burger, lol.

Serious incompetence at this location. Went through the drive through. Placed my order, which the person working had a difficult time understanding. That being said, she did repeat my entire order back to me to ensure it was correct. When I get to the window, she hands me the bag and doesn’t say anything just turns around and closes the window. It was busy so I pulled into a parking spot to check. It was missing literally half the items I ordered, even though the receipt on the bag was correct for what I ordered and paid for. Having two children in the car under two, going inside was really not a great option so I went back through the drive through. I got back to the speaker and explained I was missing items, she told me to come to the window. When I get to the window, she doesn’t say anything and clearly doesn’t know what to do. I explained I missing these items, which was an order of fries and chicken tenders. Someone behind her asks for the receipt, which I hand over. Window closes without any apology or explanation. She comes back a minute later and hands me a container. Understanding that I am not dealing with the sharpest knives, I open it to check. It’s still not correct. There are no fries, only three very small, sad looking chicken tenders. Well, the window closed again so now I’m waving to get someone’s attention. She comes back and I tell her those no fries in here. “Oh.” She leaves and gets some fries but never really says anything and I drive away. I included a picture of the chicken tenders, which were inedible. Anyway, I won’t be back. Maybe if the people responding to these negative reviews, of which there are quite a few in recent months, actually went there and worked with these people, things would improve.
