The hubs grew up here, and hasn’t been in 25+ years. He said nothing has changed, except the sidewalk (won’t slip & fall when it rains now). My first time trying, and let me say, IMO, it lived up to everything he said. Very fresh and VERY delicious! Every time we come to Oakland, it will be on my list! Great quality and quantity for the price. Double cheeseburger + fries and a bacon cheeseburger + cheese fries= $36ish

Fast, friendly, hot, and good. Hard qualities to find. I got the single cheeseburger with grilled onion. Little to much mayo for me but it was good, fries were piping hot and there was alot of them. Top it off with a pineapple shake they was very good. Great find will be back.

This is the only place I know of in Hayward where I can get a turkey burger It is also reasonably priced. I can’t eat the bun so it is on lettuce. This is my go to spot in Hayward for a burger.

My first time here and I’m am throughly surprised! It was great! I guess they had just reopened from a remodeled and it looks very clean. Only criticism is that they should get a speaker system to call out orders are ready. Burgers prices where reasonable too.

Everything about this place was pretty solid! The parking lot had plenty of spots for their guests. The service we got has friendly and prompt. The turkey burger and fries I ordered was on point… the food tasted very good!
But… the atmosphere was lacking big time. There is only two outside tables, no inside seating and no real charm to this otherwise great establishment.

Still the best burger around!! Looks newly updated, cleaned up, and very nice!! Food still has same great classic taste it always has since I was a kid. Everyone was nice and the food was hot and fresh, fries so hot I had to wait. I got the Bacon Cheese Burger with grilled onions, so good! Shakes are still thick and delicious too! Leave them a nice tip for their hard work, especially with all this hot weather. Thank you!!

Great, GIANT homestyle burgers. This burger reminds me of the McDonald’s DLT from the 80s, but 20 times better! Crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, onion, mayo, etc.. (of course, they can customize it for you). This is a local favorite that’s been serving the Bay Area since the mid-80s. I’m never disappointed with this place. P.S. MUCH better than In-and-Out. Yes, I said it.

Came here for dinner last night. Location was clean and bright. Menu was big and easy to read. Got the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Very tasty. This is basically a to-go joint although they have 2 picnic tables available. No public restroom available.

No doubt the burger was large in size. I ordered the chili cheese burger and fries. There wasn’t much of chili taste to this burger. I expected a better tasting meat. Fries was not quite done as you could still get a taste of semi raw potatoes. Perhaps it needed a few more minutes of cooking. Overall it was not bad for fast food but I’m still searching for the good old burgers we used to eat 30+ years ago. Where can I find that or do we ever get that back….?!?
