Mexican food is one of our favorites, and our dining experience at Urbano was amazing! The decorations and atmosphere make this restaurant very cozy, inviting and unique.
The food ingredients are always fresh and the dishes full of flavor. We can never go wrong with chicken and shrimp Fajitas. The service was 1A+ with our server Franklin, who was very friendly and attentive to our individual requests. Will visit again when we are in Old Town Alexandria next time.

The food here was delicious. While walking down King street, I was looking for something to eat and I’m glad I chose this place! Eating outside was a relaxing experience. The inside was nicely decorated as well. The service was great and our server was friendly and attentive. My husband said the wings were delicious coming from a Mexican restaurant. This place would be on my list to return to when in the area!

Amazing spot in Old Town Alexandria! The molcajete was delicious and the shrimp were full of flavor. I also had the One and Only margarita and it was spectacular. Went with two friends and we all loved it. Great food and great atmosphere — definitely coming back.

Went here for brunch with my girl. I got the huevos rancheros and she got the breakfast chorizo pizza. Both were healthy serving sizes. Huevos were good but I’ve had much better didn’t love them. Breakfast pizza was delicious, wish I could have traded meals. Been here a couple times and never super impressed but good enough to come back and be satisfied.

We ordered a Molcajete for 2 people and it was a lot of food. It was very tasty, came either rice, beans, tortillas, meat, chicken, shrimp, and veggies. The salsas were great. I really enjoyed it. Javier our server was amazing, very friendly.

Been here twice. Once last year and again this past fall around September. Our server was nice. Bar might not be as clean as it should be for a restaurant. They had the door open which was probably a bad idea.

While strolling through Old Town Alexandria on my husband’s birthday, he chose where we would eat. He chose this restaurant and it was a pretty good choice. The chips that come with the table were good and — being a person that cannot do spicy food — I appreciated that the salsa was good and NOT spicy! My husband had the spinach and chicken enchiladas and said they were pretty good. I had 2 soft tacos that were OK. The rice and beans were kind of bland. The margaritas also were not that great. The service here was outstanding and they do offer a military discount. The decor was quite interesting making for a laid-back and relaxed atmosphere.

The food was just okay, nothing particularly impressive. I found it to be on the pricier side, especially considering the average taste. I’ve had similar dishes at other restaurants with better flavor and quality for a lower price. Maybe the higher cost is due to the location, but overall, it didn’t feel worth it to me.
