This restaurant offered a great variety of options. The hibachi scallops were great- and came with a great soup and salad. My husband said the filet was not as tender as it should have been.
The prices were good and the portions were great. We didn’t sit in the hibachi seating but were still able to order those menu options which was nice.

Always a good experience. Service is kind and efficient, the food is very good and they offer great lunch specials! The ambiance is nice, I love the fish tank. Their gluten free knowledge is on point – I have dined here several times with a gluten free guest and even if it is a different server they are all very knowledgeable about the ingredients and prep methods. Thank you, and well done.

We went here Friday night and it was so cold in the restaurant I had to keep my coat on. The only good part of this experience was the sushi and how sweet our waitress was. Husband ordered filet and lobster and the lobster was so gross, terrible texture and odd taste. I order filet hibachi and we both agreed the steak was not filet, it was too tough. Vegetables were raw and the hibachi rice was the worst I’ve ever had (it tasted old). If you come here, wear extra layers and only order sushi.

Ok, not the best food I’ve ever eaten, starters were great, the dynasty rolls especially!! Katsu was a bit strange, served on a bed of lettuce, not seen this before, and was expecting a Katsu curry type dish. Good value, I’d choose differently for the main course next time.

Didn’t try the true hibachi with a live chef but had a great hibachi lunch at a table. The food came out incredibly fast which was great. The steak and chicken were perfectly cooked and the rice was delicious, my 4 year old devoured the chicken. The salad was fantastic, crisp and fresh with that amazing mystery dressing. I will definitely come back to watch a live cooking and enjoy the antics and expertise of the hibachi chefs. I was also impressed with the prices, probably one of the less expensive hibachis in the area. There is also a nice selection of sushi which I will have to come back to try.

Food , drinks, atmosphere, prices, staff, everything was amazing. Easy to park, we didn’t have reservations and got seated right away on a Saturday.
They were very friendly and accommodating and provided us with excellent service.
So many food options it was hard to choose.
My daughter had sushi and we all had hibachi with seafood.
Tasted great, he added flavors as we liked and substituted ingredients since we couldn’t have anything with alcohol in it.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Toyko and all I can say now is that I wish I had done it sooner! Everything was delicious and well-made. The hibachi is delicious and not overly salty (which other places in the area are notorious for) and portion sizes are very fair for the price. Sushi is some of the best I’ve had in the area – and I’ve had a lot. I’ve now tried a little bit of everything off this menu and it is all 10/10. Staff is so friendly and prices are incredibly fair.

This experience was just okay. A little disappointed that we sat at the hibachi table and there was really no the show to speak up. One of the great reasons to visit a Japanese steakhouse with a hibachi is the added entertainment factor. Sadly this visit to Tokyo Japanese steakhouse was disappointing. The food was good and prepared correctly but for the price, I would have expected a little more entertainment from the chef.
