This has become our absolute favorite local restaurant for Mexican food. I’ve lost count of how often I’ve enjoyed dining here with friends and family. It’s perfect for every occasion (date nights, lunch with friends, birthday and graduation celebrations, etc.) and has a warm, family friendly atmosphere.
At some other Mexican restaurants, I’ve noticed a tendency for meat to be overcooked. Here, the meat in each dish is tender, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are so generous that I always seem to leave with enough leftovers for a second meal! There are also many gluten-free and dairy-free menu items available for guests with allergy concerns.
The staff is incredible; kind, attentive and very knowledgeable on the menu. As a multi-lingual establishment they are able to accommodate both English and Spanish speaking guests (and have been wonderfully patient with non-Spanish speaking guests, children and adults, who wish to practice ordering in Spanish).
We know friends who will make the trip from Lexington or Downtown Columbia because the food is that good! This has become our go-to recommendation for Mexican cuisine, both to local and out of town friends. If you’re local to the area and haven’t been here for a meal yet, get ready to discover a hidden gem!

Taco salad was like bean soup with lettuce, half a slice of hothpusr tomato (extra charge for more)
Salsa were not decent, chips were over cooked.

Ordered the Steak Fajitas. Taste was good but instead of actual steak slices it was a steak crumble (see photo). Just little(ver little) pieces of meat which was disappointing. Service was good and the restaurant is very clean. Salsa is lacking, it’s more of a sauce not chunky like we are accustomed to. Basic sides. I would give it another try but order something different. Plenty of parking and family friendly.

Stopped in for lunch at this spot for the first time. I had the Jalisco Cheese Steak which was delicious. I also had the chicken burrito Jalisco which was very flavorful. The service and the atmosphere was great!

Delicious food! Best quesadilla I have had in a while. We were a party of 10 and everyone enjoyed their meal. The sauces were good (not spicy enough if you have high tolerance for spice). Service was good. Definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Very authentic and super affordable Mexican restaurant right next to the freeway. Had their chicken fajita for 2 for lunch. It was delicious and the quantity was just perfect! They have amazing drinks on the menu too. Their chips and salsa were amazing too! I personally loved their hot sauce served on the side with chips and salsa.
