12/10!! I had the best experience. Would totally come back!

People: the staff was AMAZING!! It was my friends birthday and staff member (Cody) went out of his way to get us birthday candles and even comped our desert!! The whole restaurant including the team sang Happy birthday.

Atmosphere: such a warm and friendly environment!!

Food: I got the chicken parm and it was really good. The chicken was well seasoned and crispy and the portion was incredible!! I also got the coconut cream pie and it was to die for!

Burger could’ve used some seasoning but was still good. Not sure why I didn’t get cheese on mine but I didn’t complain. Fries were great and the ranch is amazing! Definitely suggest trying this place out. My friend got wings and a Philly and said they were great, only complaint was the hot wings were not hot, but still had good flavor!

This was my first time in WV and the first time at The Market! Just wow!!! I got the rueben and my partner got the 8″ loaded pizza…. I must say it was the best reuben I have ever eaten and the pizza was just as good!!! We also got the lemon meringue pie and limoncello cake and my gosh they were just as amazing as the food!!! We even went back a second time for more cake and pizza. Their wings were some of the tops wings we’ve had!!! All the praises I could give this place still isn’t enough!!!

Best place to eat in Hinton! The club and grilled cheeses sandwiches are great, the atmosphere is clean and inviting, and the service was fast. Skip the gumbo, but otherwise awesome!

This place has small town charm turned up to 11. Walked in and immediately thought, “Yep, I’m about to eat something good.” There’s classic outdoor seating if you’re feeling fresh-air fancy, a cozy main room with a handful of tables, and a big ol’ dining area in the back if you’re rolling deep with friends or family.

They’ve dedicated an entire wall to local craft goods—like a little Etsy shop exploded in the best possible way. Felt like I should’ve brought a tote bag.

The menu? Huge. I had the “famous burger” because if something calls itself famous, you’ve gotta try it. Verdict: legit classic burger vibes, no notes. The onion rings were crispy halos of happiness.

I was this close to grabbing a pizza—there’s a beautiful classic pizza oven behind the counter practically begging for attention. Next time, it’s happening.

Desserts were staring me down from across the room. I gave in to the cannoli, and wow—crunchy, creamy, and gone in 30 seconds.

The vibe is friendly, the service is great, and I left full and mildly emotional about onion rings. Highly recommend.

The Market is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Excellent service, and everyone is extremely courteous. A nice variety, the food is always delicious, and the desserts are top notch. If you’re in Hinton the Market is a must stop! Support local.

Great food, awesome service. A must stop if visiting the Sandstone Falls, New River Gorge NP. Inside and outside seating available. Very dog friendly. We had the turkey club and it was excellent. Friends in our group had the Reuben and it was excellent as well.

every time we go to this place they never fail to forget half of our order, (even when it’s not busy) and they always mess at least one or 2 things up every single time. the last time we got pizza the dough was raw. Also, the tool they use to move the pizzas is almost touching the ground. (they use it directly on the pizza dough,) very unsanitary and unprofessional. all workers do not seem to care about the food and sanitation at all. i will also mention the extremely small portions of food, the fry boxes barley ever have any fries in them. i wouldn’t recommend, you might get raw dough or half of your order most likely will be missing.

At the last minute we decided to try and new place while out for a drive. We were passing through Hinton anyway, so stopped at The Market for lunch. What a great place with a lovely vibe and pretty furnishings – be sure and check out the ceiling! The restaurant sells a great variety of local/WV products like maple syrup, jams, a few WV oven mitts, things like that. We also discovered Dick Taylor Chocolate Bars which are made by a very small company in Humboldt County, CA – Eureka – where we are originally from! What a fun surprise! We bought some bags of gourmet, flavored popcorn, a couple chocolate bars, and took home a couple slices of cake for after dinner. (Chocolate and Milky Way – both were amazing!) For lunch we both had the reuben sandwich with beer battered fries – I added lettuce and tomato to mine. These sandwiches were really, REALLY good. Lots of meat and sauce, just the right amount of sauerkraut, and the rye bread was grilled perfectly. The fries were really good too. They offer free refills from their soda and tea area. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and our meal was served quickly. We will definitely eat there again when in Hinton!

Great cafe much appreciated for being open Monday & Tuesday in historic Hinton area (other nearby restaurants mainly closed then). My reuben sandwich was hot and fresh and the fries were crisp. Staff were pleasant and the inside was neat and clean. Great stop if you’re passing on the way to Sandstone Falls Boardwalk.
