Loved this place for 2 weeks, they had $1 Tuesday breakfast tacos and daily breakfast specials with coffee for $4.99 or $5.99. We went today and prices have easily doubled. We ordered 2 – 3 tacos special in the drive thru and was around $11.50 for 6 tacos, nothing fancy, portions were tiny. Menu said based on egg prices no more dollar tacos and the breakfast specials with coffee is $7.99 or $8.99 now. Looks like we will be taking our business elsewhere. Service and staff are great!!!

The service here is great we were quickly seen and our waitress was very attentive and constantly checked on us. The food was delicious and surprisingly cheap! To start the chips and salsa were fresh and the queso they give has a nice kick. We got the lunch specials that come with an entree choice and a drink, the asada on both of our meals was well cooked and fatty. Loved it would definitely recommend!

I wouldn’t say this is the best Mexican restaurant in San Antonio, but it’s probably on the top 3 in this area. Service is consistently good. Most plates are good, and portion size is adequate. Good variety of choices. I like coming here for the breakfast special which it’s very economical. Coffee is great and the waitresses are good at making sure your cup doesn’t go empty.
Both their huevos rancheros and machacado tacos (or plate) are probably the best I’ve had in San Antonio. They also have lunch specials that change daily. Good mini tacos plate. I would not recommend the “Mexican” hamburger, I had it once in the past and it was very disappointing. I don’t like their menudo either, literally half of it is “maíz” (corn). Plenty of parking. If you’re in the area, give it a try.

The food didn’t taste right at all. The soup tasted like it was watered down and the bbq smelled and tasted worse. The atmosphere is ok – good decor and cleanish restrooms. Great tortillas – but I would never return.

Stumbled upon this restaurant driving by. An authentic and homey restaurant. The food was delicious. My wife ordered the migas plate and I ordered the carne guisada. Both were delicious. My wife’s favorite was the strawberry pancakes. The cherry on top of all the delicious food was the outstanding service. Would definitely recommend and am coming back.

We went here before for lunch. Today, we went for brunch. We ordered breakfast tacos, omelette, migas, and machacado. The food is delicious and cheap. Free refills on the coffee. It’s a very busy place and the staff was great.
