We had a beer, or 2, at this quaint bar in Great Bend KS and were pleasantly surprised to find great wait staff and food!! My husband ordered the chicken fried sandwich thinking it would be smaller than the entree only to find huge portions and lots of toppings. I ordered the Farmhouse Burger and upgraded to onion rings. So. Much. Delicious-ness!! While the tab with tip was $27.50 each, we were hungry and this made our day! Thank you Taylor…great service!

We ordered the 16oz bone in Ribeye, cheesy green beans and loaded mashed potatoes. The steak was the most tender steak we’ve ever tasted! Perfect in every way! The sides were delicious too! Presentation on the potatoes was phenomenal!

Nadiua always is a favorite to always get served from. She just served me the best cedar plank salmon and Cesar, outside next to my best fur companion. Even brought River her own bowl of lean water! Hurry in and try this months specials while they are here!! Next I’m coming for that burger!!! Pork belly too, don’t skip on that one!

Askd for ketchup, but got nun…
Sister went & got it for kids!!
Elderly Mother asked for gravy on side as she was unsure if she was gona like it or not…
It came on the potatoes…
No care or concern one bit from waitress…
No apology or offer to replace or fix…
Forgot green beans for Sister’s meal…
Forgot alcohol drinks refills…
We heard the bartender ding the bell for r refills…So Sister went & got r drinks…
Took long time for other drink refills…
She acted like it was a bother to serve Us…
Then came the bill…
No discount for any screwup by her…
No Senior discount either?!?
Thank GOD they gave Veteran’s discount!!
And an AUTOMATIC 15% gratuity was added bcuz We were a party of 7…

Friendly & fun staff & atmosphere. Good food. Ordered the fried catfish with cheesy green beans & corn came with homemade relish. Catfish was tender & fried perfectly, relish was great, the green beans reminded me of green bean casserole served at Thanksgiving very good, unfortunately I didn’t like the corn. Husband order a hamburger with homemade potato chips they were awesome! Had a Bloody Mary & it was also good! Definitely would return to the HandleBar and Grill!!

I stopped in for lunch on a weekday, and the parking lot was full of work trucks. Usually a good sign. Interior was busy but plenty of seating. I grabbed a seat at the bar and was helped right away. I ordered a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and cheesy green beans. Order came out promptly, and was served nicely. Steak was just average, really nothing special. Mashed potatoes were ok, again nothing special. Cheesy green beans were flavorless and the “cheese” was very watery. Nothing really wrong here, just your run-of-the-mill bar food.
