A cozy establishment tucked away in the peacock art district, that makes you feel right at home. Came with a group of five and we all agreed the food was delicious, warm, and comforting. The Cuban breakfast was delicious and filling, the empanadas were crispy on the outside and flavor packed on the inside. I also would be remiss to not recommend the café con leche. I definitely would recommend this friendly, vibrant neighborhood spot to anyone looking for a place to sit down and eat some good food.

Clean very friendly staff. I was given a nice warm greeting by a gentleman.. I had the Cuban breakfast with a small cafe con leche. All under $10, great tasty fresh breakfast that reminded me of being back in Miami!!
An older gentleman came in alone for breakfast, I guess he’s a local. The owner made him a chocolate cake, give him a gift and sing happy birthday to him. This is beyond customer service. God bless this business, the owner and workers ❤️

My family and I visited some family members that lived in Fort Pierce during Christmas week; and heard this restaurant was good and a must restaurant to eat at. We’re from Michigan and we would always go to this restaurant when visiting relatives. My favorite dish to eat is the Fried Yuca and the Black Beans with Chorizo, Rice and sweet plantains. So delicious! My husband got the Cuban sandwich and my daughter got her salad. See pictures.
I would recommend eating at this place if you want some good Cuban dishes. We’ll definitely visit the restaurant again in the future!

Great people and great food here. I always get the pork chunks when they are in the special board.

This is truly a diamond in the rough. The Cuban sandwich was not only crispy on the outside, but fresh and delicious on the inside. The empanada was also very fresh and not overly saturated with fat like every other place. I will admit it’s kind of weird dining in a post office . That might be the only drawback but I will come back especially if I need to mail a letter.

Despite the road closure that confused Google maps…we found it. Tons of parking. Nice little place inside a building with a post office. Plenty of spaced out seating. We came for the Cuban coffee and my husband was very happy. The rice/bean/chicken burrito was excellent and too much for me to finish. He tried the pulled pork sandwich which he described as “fine”. We’ll be back.

Daughter and I went in for a late breakfast; it was about noon time. The place is unique in that there is a post office in the same space as the restaurant- access through same door. Eclectic, but nonetheless welcoming. The restaurant takes the majority of the space and gives you the Little Havana feel, like if it belonged somewhere in Miami. You place your order and pay at the very location where you enter the front door, they hand you a ticket # and then you find your own seat if dining in, or a place to wait while they work on your order. When you hear your # called you approach the pick up which is at a different location. If dining in they provide your meal on a paper plate; if ordering ‘to go’ you get a foam food enclosure. Nothing fancy but it works and quite organized. Very much like a cafeteria in Miami area. I enjoyed the experience. Menu was ethnic, however having American basic options as well. Prices reasonable. Service behind the counter was warm and helpful; speaking English or Spanish clearly. My disappointments were in 1. we wanted pancakes, but they stop serving pancakes after 11am due to not enough grill space available after that hour. 2. The ordering location is too close to the front door causing confusion in foot traffic coming in with lines going to both restaurant and postal service.

Ok, except they use 2% milk in the latte per the owner when I called to ask about my strange cafe con leche; it taste like watered coffee. Did not see signs saying such. Pretty bad cafe con leche lol.
I have eaten here before and don’t recall the coffee like that.
The media noche I had was good but a watered coffee is pretty bad; most coffee machines whose instructions I have read say to use cold regular milk to get a good froth. This might be the first cafe con leche I don’t drink/ finish lol and I love coffee, my father has a coffee farm in Colombia .

This happy couple was featured in the Miami Tribune for one of the best Cuban Sandwiches in Florida. They nailed it. I never had it with “Tampa Style” i.e. Salami added and that made it pop. Very friendly folks and a nice clean place. The French Fries were awesome too. Well worth the trek from Stuart.
