I come here all the time. The guys know me by name. Today, I finally got the sopes with barbacoa served PERFECTLY! The masa was super soft, not like shoe leather as most restaurants do. I know it’s not always possible to get the timing right all the time, but today they were perfect! !!!

I had the one in Waxahachie but couldn’t leave a review because they won’t let you leave reviews on that one (sounds suspicious). Anyway, this was by far the absolute WORSE tacos and queso I’ve had in all of my life! The barbacoa was fulllllll of oil and no flavor at all. The meat looked old and had a lot of fat in it. The chicken tacos were dry. I’ll never eat this food again. I took one bite and tossed it in the trash. 0/10

Taco Express always hits. The food is fresh, flavorful, and you can tell they put real care into everything they serve. My order has been great every time, and the portions are solid too. The only thing is the food can take a little while, but honestly it’s worth the wait because it comes out hot and done right. Definitely one of my go-to spots.
