I decided to cut through Bay Ridge on my way home Saturday when I drove past Pizza Wagon. I hadn’t had pizza in a while so I decided to give it a shot, since pizza is usually quick & inexpensive. I had a chicken roll which was a bit small but tasty. Though it may have been a bit smaller than I’m used to it was also cost a little less so I’d call it even. I also had a white slice of pizza which was crispy & delicious. The place is so small they don’t have a visible restroom. (In NY if a restaurant has less then a certain amount of seating they’re not required to have a restroom for customers…unless a law changed I’m unaware of) It seemed like most of their business was take out that day. They had some memorabilia decorating the walls & awards. If you’re in the area check it out.

Shout-out to Pizza Wagon! I stopped by today to order pizza and didn’t realize they only accept cash. After ordering, I noticed I hadn’t brought my wallet, but the employee was incredibly kind and generous and told me it was okay, I could pay next time.
Such a sweet and trustworthy gesture that really made my day. Just a heads-up to bring cash when you visit! I’ll definitely be back again for another visit (and to return the favor). Highly recommend!

Pizza Wagon is hands down my go-to spot after late nights working weddings. It’s one of the most authentic and tastiest pizzerias in Brooklyn — truly legit. The slices always hit the spot, especially for those midnight cravings. They’re open late (usually until 1 or 2 AM), which makes them a lifesaver when most places are closed. Just make sure to bring cash, because that’s all they take. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a real Brooklyn pizza experience!

Pizza perfection!! Exactly the way you want a classic NY slice to taste. Cash only & no Parmesan but you don’t even need it bc the pizza is so damn good. Several little booths inside if you want to eat it there. Also: fountain drinks, yay! Loved it and can’t wait to have it again!! Pepperoni, classic cheese, white and Sicilian were all delicious!

Bay Ridginal 5 star rating is for the concrete low budget Pizza fast food. Comparing to price as a street food where you can sit and eat is the best in Bay Ridge. You can taste both American and Italian pizza styles. Mostly there is not much choice in the variety of pizzas but what they have they are all delicious.

Pizza Wagon is the kind of old‑school Brooklyn gem that reminds you why New York pizza has its reputation. We’re regulars here, but somehow their pies still manage to “woo” us every single time.
Yesterday, we ordered a large pie, well done — and what arrived was nothing short of perfection in a box. The crust had that perfect balance of crisp and chew, the sauce and cheese were spot‑on, and the whole pie carried that unmistakable brick‑oven magic.
They’re cash‑only (as only the good ones are), which just adds to the classic, no‑nonsense vibe. If you’re in Bay Ridge and craving a slice of true Brooklyn tradition, Pizza Wagon is the place. Highly recommended to anyone who loves pizza done right.

The service I experienced at a local pizza wagon was absolutely appalling. Despite having seven employees behind the counter, none of them bothered to take my order. Instead, they were too busy chatting amongst themselves annd mind you there was no customers and ignoring me entirely. It’s shocking to see such blatant disregard for customer service, and it’s no wonder businesses like this struggle to stay afloat.

PIZZA WAGON is the undisputed champion of pizza greatness, hands down! It’s so good, you’ll be dreaming of pepperoni and mozzarella for days. Just remember to bring cash, because this place is so old school, even their cash register is probably a vintage artifact. But hey, that’s why the prices are a steal—I’m talking cheaper than a magician’s card trick! I’m crossing my fingers and toes that it stays that way. Can’t wait to return and indulge in more of that cheesy goodness. It’s love at first slice!
