A great place with good vibes and solid food. We stopped in today for lunch. Opened up with a special appetizer, street corn dip with chips. The dip had a lot of flavor and everyone enjoyed it. Lunch was a cheeseburger and several orders of shrimp tacos. Both dishes were good and would definitely eat them again.
The staff is very friendly, fun, helpful and professional.
Nice outdoor seating area with great views of the marina and low country.

Loved sitting outside on the Friday night of Labor Day! No wait at 6:30. Hubby and I split a plate of flounder (bit too much breading) and ordered a side salad – delicious dressing – to split also. Ordered a virgin margarita and it was delicious! Coleslaw and fries were good. Waiter was great and went the 2nd mile to give me the correct price on the drink. Awesome to walk out to see the boats after dinner. Great spot!

Nice restaurant to hang out and enjoy the Waterview. And, the food was delicious!! Look at that thick burger! Hubby had grilled trigger fish. He said it was so good.

The team was the best. The bartender greeted me outside to make sure I was okay on my crutches. The waitress made a way for me to get to the restroom with ease.

We will certainly be back!

They have lots of outdoor seating, but very limited seating if it’s raining, which it was when we went. That’s okay, though, because it was worth the wait. They have a great choice of seafood. I got the blackened trigger fish. It was a big serving that I couldn’t finish. It came with hush puppies and 2 sides. I finished it for lunch the next day. They also had a huge variety of beers for a little place.

We enjoyed our experience. It was a rainy night so we didn’t get to sit outside as we would have preferred, but there were open tables inside. It was just a bit loud inside because other patrons were enjoying the bar. We ordered several appetizers for the table. Many of them were enjoyed by adults and children alike. The tortilla chips and spinach dip were especially delightful as were the crispy french fries.

We wanted to check out this place because it looked like it was a local dive and we were glad we did. It’s not as fancy as the restaurant next door but we loved the casual atmosphere and outdoor seating. The view is pretty but there’s a long causeway that the fishing rigs use in the middle of all the serenity. However, it can be overlooked depending on where you sit. There’s also a beautiful dock that goes to the marina that has more natural marsh surrounding that’s accessible from the adjacent parking area.
The food was amazing-probably one of the best shrimp quesadillas I’ve had in a while. My husband had the grilled chicken and he agreed that the meal was very tasty.
After dinner we hung out a bit to listen to music and walked over to the pier for the sunset and to watch the boats come in. It was a great little place and we will return next time we visit the island.

This places feels like a local’s secret. Fair price for adult dinner, especially for island pricing (kids could have been a $1-2 decrease but we know how island pricing is… Especially for a kids hot dog). Beautiful setting, explore a little afterwards down the pier where dolphin tours and sunset boat ride depart. We’ll be back! (Maybe just adult date night)

Up the Creek is a friendly spot that strikes me as more of a neighborhood bar than a fancy waterside restaurant such as other offerings in the area. The food is simple, but good. I had the peel and eat shrimp, and they were nicely seasoned with Old Bay. The on tap beer selection was eclectic, and there were some, frankly, strange beers on offer. I think we taken the ‘micro-brewery’ concept too far when we start mixing fruits into beer. The service was super-friendly, with none of the ‘I live here, you don’t’ vibe that you can get at some places on the island. A great place for a sunset drink and some food, but it’s small so get there early if you want an outdoor table.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had. I left with zero complaints. We had six people and every single person loved what they had, that’s rare! My absolute favorites were the crab cakes and the hush puppies, must gets in my opinion. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
