Love this spot for the vibe alone — the atmosphere is great, and they even had a live band on Friday, which made it such a fun night out. The pork tacos were delicious, and the shrimp tacos were really good too. Highly recommend the tacos! They also have Taco Tuesday, so we’re definitely coming back for that.

The wings were crunchy & flavour was ok – we had the sweet hot. The tuna tartare wasn’t as fresh as at other places.

They also have a great variety of delicious drinks, and their coconut water is really good and super refreshing.

We visited The Lost Tiki the other evening and were big fans. We don’t usually make it over to that side of Fifth Avenue since we tend to stay closer to CTM, but we’re really glad we made the walk.

They had live music that night, which added to the fun, energetic vibe. The drinks were very reasonably priced, full of flavor, and the bartenders were great at recommending options that weren’t too sweet (upon our request!) — we enjoyed everything we tried.

We also had the edamame and the tuna & avocado poke, both of which were great, and we’re definitely looking forward to trying more from the food menu on our next visit. Huge thanks to Walter and Adriana for the excellent service. If you’re in the area, it’s absolutely worth checking out!

Really enjoyed Lost Tiki. Started with the edamame, which was honestly the best we’ve ever had. The tacos (pork belly, bang bang shrimp, blackened fish, peri peri chicken) were all excellent, and the wings with spicy KFC sauce were a standout. Relaxed vibe, great service, super affordable — under $15 for four tacos and $3 beers. A bit away from the touristy spots which was nice. We will be back!

My wife loved the Pina colada. It’s amazing cuz they don’t pressure you to order. The food is bomb. Not a big place but overall good vibes. I’d come back. The drinks are delicious. Come check it out!

Delicious food, drinks and atmosphere. We had the ahi poke, egg roll al pastor, Korean taco, fish taco, shrimp taco and panceta taco. Honestly some of the best fusion I’ve had in playa. Live DJ was also a plus.

My wife and I really enjoyed The Lost Tiki. It is kind of out of the primary tourist zone but that was part of its appeal. The vibe was really nice and had good music playing. You can tell that locals know about this place. The food is killer. I had 2 of the pork belly tacos and the bang bang shrimp and my wife has the poke stack. All were very tasty but I’d say the shrimp was my favorite. We also tried a few different cocktails which were also strong enough without being overpowering. I feel like this place is a hidden gem and look forward to going back soon! I caught a peek at the sliders and they looked huge and delicious too.

A Perfect Wedding Reception at The Lost Tiki, Playa del Carmen

We recently had our wedding reception at The Lost Tiki in Playa del Carmen, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hospitality of the entire staff was truly top-notch, and every one of our guests had an amazing time.

Planning everything from Canada could have been stressful, but working with Juan made it a complete breeze. He took care of every detail — from coordinating the perfect band, DJ, and Mariachi to ensuring the evening ran flawlessly.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the delicious food and the incredible service. They also did a phenomenal job in accommodating our vegetarian guests. A special shoutout to Walter, who managed the event seamlessly and kept everything on track, and to Miki, whose cocktails were absolutely on point. We also had wonderful service from Ever and Alena, who went above and beyond all evening.

The entertainment was phenomenal — Captain Funk, our DJ, was amazing! He even mixed in some Punjabi music upon request, which our guests absolutely loved. Lazy Dynamite, the band, kept everyone on their feet all night long.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better celebration. The warmth, professionalism, and hospitality of everyone involved made it an unforgettable night. If you’re planning an event in Playa del Carmen, The Lost Tiki is the place to do it!

A total gem of a place! Food and drinks were delicious – such beautiful presentation! The atmosphere is perfect, down to the flowers strewn through the lights above. The owner is awesome to talk to and so humble! Each of us had three street tacos, a bottle of water and two pineapple margaritas for $16 per person on Taco Tuesday!

Fantastic restaurant. The handle crafted tiki cocktails were really good. Had more than I care to mention. We had the Korean fried chicken, the best. Live music was awesome. The manager came around to check on everyone.
