So cute. Great food and great service. Our waitress was so sweet. She made great recs. Dumplings (seared) were my fav. Lettuce wraps were great too. Strawberry fields forever drink was tasty, not too sweet. Loved everything!

Room 38 is very cool, hip, and sophisticated. Not where you want to take a young family due to its environment, but certainly where you want to land for a romantic date or night out on the town. The lobster mac & cheese, pretzel bites, and brussels sprouts are always fantastic. Lots of fun drinks like spicy margaritas.

We hosted a dinner for the UMissouri veterinary house officers at Room 38 and we had such a wonderful time! The food was delicious, the drinks were well poured and the patio was such a nice vibe! We really appreciate Soleil, Chef and Tyler for taking such great care of us! We will be returning for future events!

To be fair, I think we just got the bad waitress, who spent most of the time talking to her friends who were at one of the tables. It wasn’t busy at all, so she didn’t have excuse to forget about our drinks – she only remembered about us after she saw me getting up to go get them from the bar, where they have been sitting for a while. She also forgot about the food and spoiled the evening.
Thankfully, the manager did everything possible to make the things right.
Also, unfortunately because of the construction going on, the outside area was not well suitable and we had to sit inside.

I have never been here for brunch before, but I was told they serve pretty good food. Well, the food there is decent, but the kitchen was SUPER SLOW and our server also never kept us updated as to how long would take for the food to come. It took them approximately 40 minutes to have the food ready. I hope it was just because they were short on staff at that time, but I don’t think waiting for 40 mins to get our food served is acceptable, especially as no one informed us if there was gonna be a long wait. They were fairly busy when we were there eating our brunch, but they definitely need to look into their workflow. It seems like everyone working was fairly NEW to this place and they didn’t seem to be fully trained in terms of keeping everyone informed and getting our orders correct. For the prices they charge here, guests should be able to expect better services than what we received. Despite the food being reasonably good, I am not sure if I would come back anytime soon for brunch here. Wish my experience here could been a little different.

The food was beyond perfection! Ambiance was gorgeous! We went a couple days after Christmas, so it was all decorated beautifully with soft, warm lighting, and tons of battery lit candles. (My pics wash it out and don’t do it justice), And the service was excellent! Can’t recommend this place highly enough!!! I only with the bathroom was bigger and wheelchair accessible.

We sat and waited over an hour for candied bacon which was undercooked and came out with all our other food. The people next to us got pretzel bites which looked undercooked and drenched in butter. They complained and had it taken off their check. Our food was cold so we left. Something else that was striking was the color of the coffee which looked like tea.

The atmosphere is perfect for photos and probably group get togethers when you are meeting up for drinks. The outdoor tables are definitely designed for form over function and they leave very little room for dinner plates. The service was a little slow at times and we had to ask multiple times for water refills. The food however was slightly disappointing. Small portions for the price and quality was a simply just lacking. The potatoes were over-seasoned and the grilled cheese was flat with more serano jam than cheese or anything else. We were there for lunch and sat outside the weather was perfect for their patio. The best part was the decor and the donuts.
